How many of them are for Serious strengthening our borders as in a border fence.

I think that is the most critical component. If you don't do something about that, even if you don't legalize the ones already here, they keep coming and there will be more and more of them.

If you stop them from coming across the border illegally, it almost doesn't matter much what you do with the ones already here, after all 12 million is less than 0.5% of the total US population.

The main problem is that 12 million today and how many million tomorrow? The only way to stop that is to secure the borders.

If we secure the borders, I don't see any problem with well regulated, controlled guest worker program, where we know who they are, where they are, have them pay taxes, etc.

I don't know.
I like Sessions, Kyl and Cronyn and I think my own Senator Lott is on board with them.

I am going to use this posting to send an e-mail to ALL of our senators.

None of them or they would have already done it.

Their main objection is to get reelected. To hell with constituents who don't donate to their campaign. They can't do that without BIG BUSINESS (that hire ILLEGALS) donations. Or, at least, that's what they think.

If any of them think I'm voting for them if they don't stop ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION they have another think coming. If they vote for AMNESTY (which is what it is) I'll campaign against them.

If they allow ILLEGALS to march in the streets without arresting them then the rest of the laws should be thrown out the window too. Nothing like shoving something in your face to make someone angry enough to do something about it. If I hear one more 'advocate' demand 'rights' for ILLEGALS I think I'll scream.

It is true 12 million is a small percentage of the total population. The Hispanics here [I would assume citizens} are over 12% of the population now. They have passed the Blacks as the largest minority group.

The Black population isn't growing as a percentage of the population. The Hispanics, as a general rule have more children than the Whites or the Blacks.

IMHO I feel in time they will be the majority. Several years ago, before my husband died which is three years, the
Hispanics were 50% of the first grade in California. The number I see on the streets here, a small town in N,C.,as I see it,it will not be long until it will be the same
here.

The solution to this problem is at this site. The only thing that matters to congressman is that they stay in office. With a minimum of 57% of the people against amnesty and worker proggrams. And in some polls thats 80% And the congressman knowing you will vote to demonstrate it, will change all their minds.
