Sen. Dianne Feinstein told Chinese-American leaders the U.S. has no commitment to defend free Taiwan against China.

Since when does a Senator make US policy?

How does her statement differ from the stated policy of the current administration?

Feinstein continues to carry China's water so her man, Dick Blum, can make hundreds of millions more to go with the hundreds of millions they already have. You can just never have too much.
Now that China is in the process of taking Nepal, it will be interesting to see how it affects the work of Blum's pet charity, The American Himalayan Foundation, in San Francisco.

Richard C. Blum, Feinstein's nusband, has made 10's of millions of dollars in China and just purchased them a 13 million dollar home.

What is the stated policy of the current administration?

The stated policy of the current administration is, we will do "whatever it takes" to defend Taiwan.

I think that means military support if necessary.
