To: Unam Sanctam
We have a totally selfish and shallow society (generalizing here of course) that is constantly shocked to learn that the leaders of the World's religions do not just come out and say "if it feels good, do it."

These are men of great spiritual learning and commitment, they are trying to attain a higher level for humanity than living like animals or worse. Let's face it, that higher standard isn't always convenient for most of us. But it ought to be obvious that acting out our basest fantasies is not a road to enlightenment.

I don't expect to find the Dalai Lhama at a go go bar, and I don't expect him to tell me it would be just peachy if I go there, either.

That is why all the tree hugger freaks want to re wild the world. Animals don't judge (morally).

And they exist at id level.

Relgions create a super ego.
