The top Democrat on the House ethics committee, Alan Mollohan, will leave the panel -- at least temporarily -- while he defends his own financial conduct, Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi said Friday.
Mollohan's decision comes in an election year when his party is accusing majority Republicans of allowing a "culture of corruption" in Congress.

BWAHAHAHAHA! "Culture of corruption" it may be, but the dems are crazy if they think they can claim it's limited to the Republicans.
WOOO HOOOO!!!!!
This is a good day--first we hear about a CIA leaker getting fired, then this slimeball is forced to step down. I hope there's much more to come.
I guess red flags flew when his net worth went from $500G to $15 Million in three or four years and during the worst economy since Hoover. ;^)
This is the perfect time for him to do it because this will be put on the MSM back burner while slamming the Republicans for gas prices.
yep. Friday snewz dump.
I'm sure SeeBS-NBC-ABC-CNN will lead with this tonight...
" I hope there's much more to come."
The liberals have been jumping up and down, giving high fives to each other. They act as though they never did a thing wrong in their lives. Well, we all know better. They have started a ball rolling down a very high mountain. This is just the beginning, if the GOP wants to gather dirt, I bet they have truck loads to till from. Will be interesting to watch the fall out.
LOL - he was profiled this a.m. on Fox News! Typical Friday p.m. dump.
A demonrat actually stepped down?
I'm taking my shotgun outside to shoot some airborn pork.
So what's the deal now with the Ethics Committee? Will it improve or what?
No media outrage or 24/7 coverage.
There will be this meager mention on a dump day and this will never be mentioned again.
Glad to see Pelosi tone down the rhetoric on this./sarc
Culture of Corruption: Democratic party, 1 (female) Senator who wrote more than 400 bad checks. 1 (male) Senator murdered a woman while driving drunk. 1 (male) Senator who admitted that while an officer in the U.S. Naval Reserve travelled to Paris France to meet with, and collaborate with our enemies while we were fighting them in war (and now featured as a hero to them in their museum).
Demoncraps win the contest hands down.
bump to keep this thread alive....
