Just breaking on Fox...
No details, but the agent was caught dead to rights leaking....
Update: CIA Officer Fired for Leaking Classified Info to Media
WASHINGTON A CIA officer has been relieved of his duty after being caught leaking classified information to the media.
CIA officials will not reveal the officer's name, assignment, or the information that was leaked. The firing is a highly unusual move, although there has been an ongoing investigation into leaks in the CIA.
One official called this a "damaging leak" that deals with operational information and said the fired officer "knowingly and willfully" leaked the information to the media and "was caught."
You may be right....that Bill and Hill were THEIR puppets all through the 90's...and are still under their control...because now they have MORE stuff on the Clintons...
And all this time we thought the Clintons were the guiding force??
He is a radical leftist....
Can you imagine how much good he did analyzing Soviet affairs at CIA during the 70s and 80s?? No real need to go looking for moles is there?
(PS: Seem to remember that he was not in the CIA the entire time, but connected also to another US intel resource, but anyway, what was he doing there?)
Think about Dana Priest's recent activities in comparison with her husband Wm. Goodfellow, CIP, Mel Goodman, etc (link is just about Dana Priest, but think about her subversion with Mary McCarthy, et al in relation to her husband's lifework):

They are all pulling together toward the same far-left agenda for US intel and national security, they just have different approaches - Dana Priest worms her way into prominence within the MSM (what the 60s leftovers used to call the "long march through the institutions") while hubby and friend work more openly and explicitly to weaken the USA and push policy far to the left.

Ms. Farnsworth also wrote admiringly to Letelier of the good work that "Bill Goodfellow" was accomplishing for the revolution. She was referring, of course, to William Goodfellow, the CIP director, who is a very bad fellow. How bad? Bad enough to stubbornly defend the murderous Khmer Rouge communists in Cambodia long after most leftists had decided the genocidal slaughter was just too obvious to deny anymore.
Still another sterling staff member with Lake at CIP was Susan Weber, a former editor of Soviet Life, the official propaganda organ published at the Soviet embassy for American consumption. In that communist endeavor, Ms. Weber was forced to register as an agent of a "foreign power." At CIP, she could carry out essentially the same task without the inconvenience of registering. Another CIP consultant was Edwin Martin, who was identified to intelligence authorities in 1947 as a member of a Soviet spy ring. When you start tugging on the CIP thread, you end up at the Fund For Peace (FFP), long one of the most openly pro-communist outfits in the country. The CIP was founded by, and is funded by, the FFP. A longtime trustee of the Fund was Louise R. Berman. And who is she? A longtime Red and hard-core Stalinist, Berman was the subject of extensive congressional investigation into communist activities during the 1940s and 50s. She was a contact and a courier for Stalin's NKVD (precursor to the KGB) and GRU (military intelligence) agents in the U.S. and worked with J. Peters, the Kremlin's top Comintern representative on the central committee of the Communist Party, USA. Berman is only one of many notorious communists and subversives involved with the CIP/FFP network in which Lake operated for many years.
Then there is the matter of Anthony Lake's relationship with the Center for National Security Studies (CNSS), one of many groups which have spun off from the Institute for Policy Studies. On September 13, 1974, Lake and Morton Halperin cochaired a panel on "Covert Operations and Decision Making" at the CNSS' first conference on national security. This confab brought together a full rogues' gallery of the most militant leftists who had been attacking the FBI, CIA, local police, and all internal security measures for years. Halperin went on to lead the CNSS' sustained assault on federal, state, and local police and intelligence organizations tasked with legitimate internal security responsibilities. It is thanks to the success of these subversive efforts that America is now so vulnerable to terrorist attacks and is facing repressive police-state measures to deal with these threats.

CIP was founded thirty years ago to
advance a liberal, internationalist agenda.
Executive director Bill Goodfellow, who
has led a number of successful campaigns
against outrageous nominees, took up the
fight against Boltons nomination.And
CIPs president, *Robert White, was one of
102 former ambassadors who signed an
unprecedented letter to the Senate Foreign
Relations Committee opposing Bolton.
Center for International Policy
*Robert White, president:
During his twenty-five-year Foreign Service career, White specialized in Latin American affairs with a particular emphasis on Central America. Among the posts he held were Latin America Director of the Peace Corps, deputy permanent representative to the Organization of American States, ambassador to Paraguay and to El Salvador. After retiring from the Foreign Service in 1981, White served as a Senior Associate at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. Since joining the Center for International Policy as its president in 1989, he has presided at conferences and led delegations to several Latin American and Caribbean countries, published numerous studies of U.S. policy toward the region, and led an ongoing effort to reform U.S. intelligence agencies.
Right before they came on Fox News showed a clip of President Bush making comments this afternoon...complimenting the Iraqi people for electing this new President to take Al-Jaafri's spot...and working to make their country a free country...
Bush also praised the men and women of the military for all they have done, the wounded for their sacrifice..and the family of the dead..for THEIR sacrifices...
After that clip....Frost and Kasich were asked to comment on the "good news" from Iraq about the country finally getting together and naming the new guy...
Kasich said it was great news..and if this works, it could mean a reduction in troops by the end of 2006...
Frost said it "would be good news IF President Bush would use this occasion to start leveling with the American people and quit lying about why we are there...."
Kasich went OFF on Frost and told him he is "sick of hearing you and others accusing our POTUS of lying...that is a serious charge, and you can't keep throwing that out with no proof of anything...bad intelligence does NOT make Bush a liar, no matter how many times you and others get on TV and say so...."...
I NEVER have heard Kasich take that kind of tone...because he usually sides more with the dems...IMHO>
I have read everything posted last night up to my first post here today!

CNN commercial just on: Larry King interviews Deep Throat. The counter-attack hath begun. They want McCarthy to be a hero.
WOO-HOO!
I will definitely watch the replay!
My thoughts, also...look for MSM programs to come this next week on Watergate. Every time the MSM or the dems look like they are in trouble, they trot out poor old Nixon, to them evil incarnate...it's sickening. John Dean will be all over the airwaves, and Chris Matthews will be spitting all over himself.
There won't be a replay...it was during the regular afternoon Fox News...not on a "show"...darn it.
I would LOVE to have everyone watch it...finally someone actually calling out a dem for accusing President Bush of lying!!
Whew. Finally caught up....marking my place.
Do you mean that Larry King is interviewing Mary McCarthy on an upcoming show?? That would be remarkable if she is already speaking out while a criminal case may well be pending - I think that would demonstrate extreme desperation on her part, since the lawyerly advice is always to lay low and stay quiet until legal proceedings are complete. [unless she already knows she will not be charged with a crime, which would be appalling - she should be prosecuted and put away for many years, along with all of her co-conspirators!!]

She will be on Meet the Press first....Potato face Russert will get first dibs.
Didn't Bernstein come out before this CIA agent was fired...with an article calling for Bush's impeachment or something??
