Just breaking on Fox...

No details, but the agent was caught dead to rights leaking....

Update: CIA Officer Fired for Leaking Classified Info to Media

WASHINGTON — A CIA officer has been relieved of his duty after being caught leaking classified information to the media.

CIA officials will not reveal the officer's name, assignment, or the information that was leaked. The firing is a highly unusual move, although there has been an ongoing investigation into leaks in the CIA.

One official called this a "damaging leak" that deals with operational information and said the fired officer "knowingly and willfully" leaked the information to the media and "was caught."

Not that it will ever happen but imagine IF
an opposite occurred. Instead of the CIA and IC going after
the Bush Admin

IMAGINE IF the military were to go after the folks that display that attitude.

Say they went after Code-Pinkos, Move-on, etc... What would the left say then?

Oh, I forget they already think we live in a police state! What a bunch of fools!

Former CIA Officials Call for Intelligence Officers to Leak Documents That Challenge Bush Administration Propaganda

If a group called Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity has its way, more officials within the Intelligence community will soon begin leaking documents that shows the Bush administration is slanting intelligence to support its case for war with Iraq.

The group was formed two months ago by five CIA veterans. Currently the group consists of 25 members from the entire defense community (including the DIA, CIA, Army Intelligence, and the State Department Intelligence Group).

* Ray McGovern, a 27-year CIA veteran who briefed top Reagan administration security officials before retiring in 1990. He is one of the founders of Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS).

* Daniel Ellsberg, calling in from a protest in Washington, D.C. Ellsberg is the former Pentagon official who leaked a 7,000-page top secret study of US decision-making in Vietnam, which later became known as the Pentagon Papers. He is author of Secrets: a Memoir of Vietnam and the Pentagon Papers.

The Junk Press will have to be dragged kicking and screaming to report on this. They always try to spike what makes them look bad. Same way any of the other dozens of out right fraudulent news stories they reported. Flush the Koran, Gitmo, Abu Grab, Rathergate, Fitzmus, 9-11 Circus, Downing Street Memo etc etc etc. It will be up to the New Media to hammer this. Wait until the Talk Radio heads come back Monday. Timing on this was bad from our stand point.

So, according to this Goodfellow character, Pol Pot moved the population out of the cities because they were starving.

He moved them into the countryside, whose agrarian economy had been shattered.

Illogical

Most of the signers listed are members of the America-hating group, Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity, put together by the aforementioned anti-Semite, Ray McGovern. (Who is of course bosom buddies with the pathological liar, Joe Wilson.) The names in bold we know for a fact are VIPS members.

What VIPS (and other allied groups with many of the same members) so nobly do is try to get current and former intelligence officers to break their oaths and the law and leak classified information to help our enemies.

Rand BeersAKA Robert Rand Beers

Born: c. 1942

Gender: Male
Ethnicity: White
Sexual orientation: Straight
Occupation: Government

Nationality: United States
Executive summary: Kerry foreign policy advisor

Military service: USMC (1964–68)

Rand Beers had a public service career spanning 25 years -- all the way back to the Reagan administration, where he was assigned to take over the terrorism and narcotics desk at the National Security Council following Oliver North. In October 1998, President Bill Clinton appointed Beers Assistant Secretary of State for International Narcotic and Law Enforcement Affairs.

Beers was assigned to counterterrorism in the George W. Bush White House. He lasted seven months before resigning unexpectedly, which apparently worried his bosses:

The source said that the concern by the administration about low morale in the intelligence community led national security adviser Condoleezza Rice to ask Beers twice during an exit interview whether the resignation was a protest against the war with Iraq. The source said that although Beers insisted it was not, the tone of the interview concerned Rice enough that she felt she had to ask the question twice.

Then, two months after resigning from government, Beers joined the John Kerry campaign as a foreign policy advisor.

Taught a foreign policy class at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government with Richard A. Clarke in 2004.

FYI...

The Washington Post had the story on their front page this morning BUT the headline was broken on the fold.

Above the fold...."CIA Officer"
On the fold...."Is Fired For"
Below the fold..."Media Leaks"

Of course the subhead reads "The Post was among outlets that gained classified data".

Above the fold stories... Rock Creek Fish Get a Lift (with large photo)...Democrat Leaves Ethics Panel...and :Top Shiites Nominate a Premier for Iraq...and Doors Close for Real Estate Speculators.

Thanks to the admin moderator for freezing my thread on this subject and providing a link to Howlin's Mother thread on Mary McTraitor, this thread.

The Freepers who want a quick fix can go through my thread for the quick fix.

There is just too much great data on this thread to be lost.

Thanks to all who commented on my thread.

That's off of the ARCA site. Looks like Jimmuh Carter likes the place.

I like this at the end:

"The Musgrove facility is available by invitation of the Arca Foundation only."
