Protesters Plan To Follow Bush

President Arrives In California Today

POSTED: 9:02 am PDT April 21, 2006

Protesters are expected to follow President Bush when he visits California today.

Members of South Bay Mobilization for Peace and Justice have their signs and megaphones ready.

Organizers will be trying to send messages to both Bush and Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who will appear together at Cisco Systems in the Bay Area.

Thousands of protesters are expected to tout many different agendas. Police said they have been working closely with the Secret Service on security measures.

Protests are planned in San Jose and in St. Helena, where Bush will spent the night tonight.

Bush is expected to follow this schedule:

  • A panel discussion at Cisco Systems
  • Spend the night in St. Helena
  • Visit West Sacramento Saturday to see fuel-cell technology
  • Visit Palm Springs
  • Finish trip Sunday in Twenty-Nine Palms, where he will share a meal with military families.

The local chapters of the larger national organizations opposed to the Bush Regime are NOT planning to mobilize for this.

So its up to local and the smaller grassroots groups to organize.

I may be one of them on the illegal immigration issue.

PROSECUTE EMPLOYERS! PUT THEM IN JAIL! SIEZE THEIR BUSINESS AND PERSONAL PROPERTY!

NO AMNESTY! NO GUESTWORKERS!
