She plans to keep a low profile until the students go on trial to avoid inflaming tensions in the black community, where opinion is running heavily against the privileged students.
One of the most hurtful things for the woman about the media circus surrounding the case, the cousin said, is the tendency to assume the worst about her because she is a stripper.
"She's a victim and she's a human being," the cousin said. "Her occupation couldn't justify that a crime like this was committed."

Innocent until proven guilty? What happened to that concept? The other night, Nancy Grace was in high dudgeon about this case. TV lynching of the Duke lacrosse team, in fact.

Reade should be released immediately. His alibi looks air tight. They actually showed the call he placed to the taxi dispatch on the news last night.

The question I haven't seen answered yet is: Was there any other forensic DNA in/on the woman that wasn't hers?
I wouldn't always be quick to say that the fact that there is no DNA evidence means much - because it doesn't take much imagination to figure out how one could avoid leaving something behind.
BUT, if I remember correctly, her claim is that she lost several of her fake nails scratching these men and she identified them by said scratch marks. So we're supposed to believe they didn't find any skin under those nails? I watch CSI people. :-) I know they can get DNA from that.
O'Reilly, last night, mentioned a few home truths about this case. Risky behavior will -- more often than not, get you in trouble. It's stupid. Don't do it.

Yep. I think this falls into the "If you play with fire, you are gonna get burned" category for all involved.
One of the tv talking head/lawyers last night, maybe MSNBC, said if the brutal rape/sodomization happened, no way would there be no DNA. Besides, with all that drinking going on, how many partygoers would be able to don condoms properly before the act, keep it on, take it off, without spilling at least one hair, one flake of skin or semen on this woman? Doesn't make sense. So now they're doing another DNA test with a different lab. Will they test and test until they get the desired result?
Hopefully lots of college kids will learn something from this mess, like go to strip clubs, don't bring them to you. LOL
I've heard she is a student but is in school covertly to recuit real students as prostitutes. As a former prostitute she has the ability to smooze on campus to find likely recruits.
Also as an experienced professional, she was dispatched to the team house because of her ability to handle such assignments.
ok she was doing it for the children. They why was she passed out drunk? Was that also for the children? Where were the children? Who was taking care of them while she was "working".
True enough, but even if a condom was used, it's likely there would be a transfer of pubic hair if sex took place. Can DNA be extracted from that?
And this woman had to free-lance because she couldn't manage to land a job at a strip club; the owner thought she was "acting funny."
