I've just finished reading September Day. This is a novel about the events of September 11, 2001, and the aftermath. I can't recommend it too highly. It's a real page-turner. I took it along to read on Easter vacation, and the only reason I put it down was to attend Holy Thursday services.

No need for a "spoiler warning." You already know the plot. Some terrorists hijacked some planes and flew them into the World Trade Towers. Then the US armed forces chased bin Laden out of Afghanistan. In the book, however, you'll meet some interesting characters, including Osama bin Laden. Larry has taken real incidents from 9/11 and its aftermath, changed some of the names to protect both the innocent and the guilty, and woven them into a real thriller.
