I just heard on the John Gibson radio program that Tony Snow has been offered McClellan's job at the White House. He has not made a decision but will discuss it on his radio program tomorrow.

OMG, you pray all the time and every once in awhile something happens that makes you understand that Someone is actually listening. Tony, I don't know what kind of personal sacrifice this job would be, but you are MADE for that job, especially at this point in history. But.....don't let us influence your decision, just because there are thousands of us out here hoping, hoping, hoping, staring at the screen with puppydog eyes, don't give it a thought Tony.
I know you have to consider your family. But you have to consider the nation too. We need you. Seriously. I won't be reduced to begging, but PLEASE!!!!!

I don't agree with Snow on everything. but he would be TEN THOUSAND TIMES BETTER then McClellan.
I can't imagine why Snow would reveal that. If he got White House permission, then the White House wants McClellan to hang out there twisting in the wind. McClellan will be peppered with questions about it. That is not like the White House. Very odd.

With only a short time remaining in his term, our President
needs all the help he can get. Hope you will seriously consider this.
One of the problems we see here is that the administration
seems out of touch with it's base, this is a conservative
site but even here people are losing faith as they see the
drift of this administration from those issues that got
GW elected.

If the rumor is true, clearly, but I can't imagine why Snow would muse publically about taking the job, and leave McClellan in limbo. That is not classy.
The drive by media will have to move off of Rumsfeld, for a few days....
the thing is - its a no risk job for Tony. what's he going to do, be worse then McClellan? Cause Bush to go lower in the polls? Impossible, so its a no lose job for Tony. He can be on offense with the rabid white house press corps, because he's got nothing to lose.
I am thrilled.
