Heard on the John Gibson radio program
Posted on 04/18/2006 5:48:13 PM PDT by yellowdoghunter
I just heard on the John Gibson radio program that Tony Snow has been offered McClellan's job at the White House. He has not made a decision but will discuss it on his radio program tomorrow.
I didn't see this posted. Just posting what I heard. No link.

Based on what qualifications I wonder?
Most people can talk, isn't that what Snow does? Just talk?

You do have a calming effect on contentious issues. We can use that now. I pray that God shows you his will for you if you are given this opportunity to serve.
I also pray that if you do accept, you and your family are protected from the inevitable attacks on your character that will come from all sides.

"What would we do without the SNOW-man?"Hey, that's my line! ;-)
Tony, whatever comes out of this, DAMN the naysayers. Their opinions are worthless and they exist only to tear people down.
Remember that, please.
This is a ch__ch. What's missing?

Now this is some good news in the morning.
I will be tuning in to his show today for sure.
I hope he accepts the offer.

Whatever you decide or if there is a decision to be made, I wish you the best. I pray that whatever decisions made by all involved help to clear the clouds of the liberal accusations and doublespeak prevalent across this land.

Good morning sir.
I suspect that you have had a restless night, either weighing whether this is something you want to do or if it a useless rumor, how to quash it.
Good luck with your decision, whatever it may be.

Um, I am not holdonnow. That person must be somewhat baffled by your entreaties...Please, please take the job. And get holdonnow to be your assistant press secretary. He can stand in the doorway and tell Gregory to "shut up you big dope."
Just kidding about that but it would be fun to see.

The simple notion that Tony will use David Gregory like a wet dishrag will be enough to make it worth tuning in every day.
Tony, this job was made for you. Pukin' Dog is right! Own these goobers!

I think he is the only one in the FNC lineup - he and Brit - who has not written a book. I was watching John Gibson yesterday afternoon and found out Judge Napolitano has a second book out. I'm waiting for one of the cameramen from FNC to come out with a book.

I hope you take the job. There has been somewhat of a void there since Ari left. Try to hold out for a desk instead of a podium at press conferences so you can still wear jeans and sneakers.
