You are right in that Bosnian Muslims "used to be" fun-loving, party animals when they were part of Yugoslavia. But they began to change first, based on the leadership of Alija Izetbegovic who stated:
"There can be no peace or coexistence between Islamic and non-Islamic institutions... The Islamic movement must and can take place as soon as it is... numerically strong enough, not only to destroy the non-Islamic one, but to build up a new Islamic one."
That's what started the war. Now, Bosnia is an Islamic haven where they sell snuff films of the beheading of Serbs on the street corners.
No other country does that to you -- you do that to yourself.

I can attest to the fact that they are not welcome in many Mosques in the US. The Arab Clerics do not trust them as most do not speak Arabic and are too white looking. They view them as potential spies also.

There are no justifications for war crimes, but war crimes are about tactics, not about strategy. Izetbegovic wanted a Muslim Bosnia, no matter the cost -- and he got it. That was his strategy and his people paid dearly for it.
The statement that I posted to you on #22 are Izetbegovic's words in an article on the Young Muslims website --so how is that "revisionist"?. How is the "White Muslim"s story "revisionist"? How is the PBS Frontline "Son of al Qaida" show "revisionnist? Or what about this -- is it "revisionist":

It doesn't take the "vast majority" of a population to be radicals -- it only take a small minority who is well tolerated in their environment -- and that is what is happening in Bosnia.

Who ever said that other than you? But Izetbegovic did demand a "Muslim Bosnia". And what in the hell did you think was going to happen from there? Did you think that ME Muslim patrons weren't going to show up & take over? Then you know nothing of Islam.
A multi-ethnic country (Yugoslavia) was cut up into its religious/ethnic parts and it polarized everyone. Nominal Muslims became radicalized, Croats revived their WWII flag and symbols and secular Yugoslav Serbs started religious flag-waiving. Yes, it became WWII continued.
But you seem to forget that Bosnia-Hercegovina has never ever been a country before, it has always been a territory. Izetbegovich and the West created a country that had never before existed -- and Serbs had always owned most of the land. Did you expect the indigenous Serbs who have lived there for the last thousand years to just lay down roll over and live under Islam --again?
What irritates me is that you and all the Bosnian Muslim apologists still seem to act like Bosnia belongs only to the Bosnian Muslims because you will it to be that way.
My relatives came from Hercegovina (Land of the Duke) four hundred years ago. When the Muslims decided to kill off all the Christian leaders, my family escaped down to Bay of Kotor in Montenegro and my great-great-(many greats) grandfather ultimately raised the Orthodox Christian flag in Hercegnovi (Duke's New Land), Montenegro. Our family name (of those who survived) is now spread from there up and down the Dalmatian Coast. Half of us are Catholic and half are Orthodox. Post WWI, my father came to the US to escape the endless cycle of wars over there.
So please don't give me a lesson on religious "ethnic cleansing". I am a product of it.

I tend to keep away from these threads, too many bad memories I served out there in Bosnia 1993 and again in 1994.
The problem is that on this subject passions are easily inflamed as most have there own very bad memories of what happened.
