State lawmaker Bob Keenan says his primary campaign against incumbent Sen. Conrad Burns won't have much money and will mostly be built around a monthlong RV tour of Montana with his wife and children.
Keenan said he expects to raise about $100,000 - compared to the millions Burns has in his campaign coffers. The well-known legislator from Bigfork said he won't have money for expensive media campaigns or a campaign staff.
Instead, he plans to spend May shaking hands with people across the state, an old-fashioned, grass-roots, power-of-one campaign.

Conrad Burns ping
Bob Keenan was won elections where he's been outspent before. Once he was outspent by six-to-one and won anyway.
Conrad Burns has become part of the problem.

I say we dump Burns in the primary and take our chances with Keenan in the general. Keenan has room to grow. Any support Burns has now is his glass ceiling.
