I wonder how many "tall" skinny women are walking around the streets of peshawar... i bet ol bin laden got a sex change!

If you follow the daily drumbeat, we're slowly dismantling the remnant AQ and Taliban along the border. Every day there is some incident that takes a few or a few dozen off the streets. I don't hear of a corresponding recruiting drive by them that is successful. It appears that they are dwindling. So, while three may not be a big number today in this incident, recall that just yesterday we got 40+ in one swipe, and tommorow we'll get another bunch.

I agree, I'm just anxious for more justice, in larger quantities.

To be honest, Brad, I've felt the exact opposite. These strikes are little drops in the bucket compared to the huge number of new enlistees. While our recruitment numbers drop, al-Qaeda seems to draw from an unlimited wellspring of dirt farmers and cattle humpers ready to blow themselves up over some silly superstitious BS from 1400 years ago.

To be honest, Brad, I've felt the exact opposite. These strikes are little drops in the bucket compared to the huge number of new enlistees. Well you are wrong. We have been systematically (albeit at times slower then we all would like) dismantling al-Qeade and ex-Taliban throughout the Afghan border region (and within select areas of the "free roam" areas of the Pak border regions).
Additionally our troop levels are not down. We have more active duty soldiers (especially shooters) today then we did in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004....and we are in the process of adding apprx 30,000-35,000 new warriors in the next several years.
The reality is time was on these guys side (in the short run) to ekk out a survival in these regions ....but we have been taking the fight to them to a degree...and that is only going to increase in the following months.

Police shot out the tires of the car forcing it to halt. One man escaped while the three others were arrested -- two of them sitting in the back seat, disguised as women wearing all-covering burqa shrouds, one of the intelligence officials said. One of the arrested men was injured in the hand. Wonder who was under those burqa shrouds...hmmmmm.

"As long as one Muslim is left breathing, the world will not be safe" Methinks your tagline is a bit broad.
If all Muslims must be killed rather than have Islam reform, are you prepared to nuke (for efficiency's sake) every man, woman and child in Islamic countries? That presents insurmountable strategic, economic, environmental and moral issues.

I wonder how much the local media plays up the burqa disguises.
If the local men realize that it is AQ's habit to dress as women and that it therefore endangers their own women maybe they would not be quite so welcoming.
