Tony will send you a real, actual, signed photo -- not stuff that people have to download. Please pass it on.By the way, if you miss anything, the show is streamed again immediately after the three hours. "Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time -- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!
AMEN!
I agree 100%!!!
Whatever business you are in, you will find people who don't like the boss --- so what???
I thought I was being nice! I mean, I didn't say anything REALLY mean!
The song was the "Can-Can". It was all we could do from hold back laughing out load.
ROFL!!
I would have never been able to hold in it in!!

Good point about this being really about Bush (from the caller). I don't think the generals are really political, as McInnerny said, but are being USED by the Iago's of the Kerry camp, who really don't care about Rummy but want to get Bush at all costs.
DTogo (Army officer)
The National Guard is being stretched way beyond limits. It is going to be very difficult to continue to staff our National Guard units when current policy utilizes them as if they were full time units. The National Guard is one of our great national resources; but it is staffed with civilians. And instead of utilizing it along our border they are being deployed and re-deployed overseas.
Can you imagine what Patton would have done? I do believe he would have challenged them to duels.
I hope we get to hear from some of these generals on Tony's show. Tony will get to the bottom of the whole thing. General Miers will be on tomorrow.
I'm late, but it's raining and the coffee is tasting good.
Going to be semilurking.....class notes and a final exam to write.
I have to leave for a while. I will check back in around 11:00.
Maybe we should vote next election to let them stay home...permanently! 8)
I think there have been very great officers who along with their military expertise also had to deal with the political aspects of a war, such as Ike and Marshal. That being said if you got to fight a war better to have a Patton or Pershing
Isn't part of that due to the fact that the NG does things that the regular army no longer does? Isn't it due to the downsizing under the toon?
