Hi Oz dad and I are just eating a Cadbury's Flake Easter Egg, the egg has started to melt so I put the flakes into the fridge.

Is it Easter Monday in Oz yet?

Its good fun, wish you could actually save the designs though instead of having to screen grab.

The First Family's Easter Sunday dinner menu sounds like everyone got their own favorite! LOL! The best kind of special dinner!

Thanks for the dose today, Wolfstar.

Thanks for posting that image of the White House and grounds...and for pointing out where everything is...

I have never been to Washington, D.C....and this helps me get a feel for it better.

You're welcome. Did you spot the Oval Office? BTW, the East Wing is traditionally the First Lady's office wing.

g'day Wolfie! Just sitting down on Easter Monday morning with a nice cup of coffee - it's a beautiful morning here - just a little nip of Autumn in the air. Brrr!

The immigration is a thorny issue here in Oz - I think that maybe Australia has bitten off more than it can chew with some of the problems that are bubbling under the surface of our society. We are a nation bulit up by immigrants and I know that when my family came here in the late 60's there was a sense of community and to assimilate into the Australian way of life. Nowadays it really is a "us and them" mentality - which is not the Australian way. It's sad...as these people just don't get it. Leave your problems back in your old country and if you feel that strongly about the problems back there; hey, there's the door...

oops, rant switch now turned off. :0)

Two kinds of ham - help an English lady here would one be smoked and one unsmoked or one hot and one cold or what?

Your "rant" is what millions of people here in the United States are saying about the immigrants who refuse to assimilate here. Europe is having similar problems. Seems to be a worldwide phenomenon.

g'day snugs! Easter Monday morning - the day after chocolate...I enjoyed my Caramello eggs yesterday (thank you) they were delish!!

My husband bought me the Cadbury Big Dude Egg - all 1kg of it! I also got some lovely Lindt Swiss Chocolate eggs from the rest of my family. For now I am just staring at them trying to come up with a strategy for demolishing them...Yum!

Are your eggs melting because of the warm weather??

I don't really know. There are multiple possibilities. Could be honey glazed, smoked, barbequed, maybe even hams from different regions of the country. Knowing the Bush family's TexMex food preferences, one was probably barbequed while the other was probably a more traditional ham.

Whoa .. twice .. thank you, snugs. He's so lucky to still have his Dad (and Mom) .. and one with whom he is so close, and is so healthy and active. God bless them all.

Hi, Wolfstar! Thanks for the thread! Great pictures!

When you look at all of those pictures from the past, can you identify the gays and lesbians? Nope. Probably some have attended in the past, because the White House doesn't ASK what your orientation is in order to get a ticket. Therefore, this stunt is purely political and a way to try and embarass the First Lady and the Bush White House. AND a way for these idiots to get their names in the paper. Of course, the press is eating it up, as they can't STAND to let anything the Bush family does go by without controversy and attacks.

Pfui. Oh, well, I am sure Laura will handle this with her usual calm diplomacy.

It is very sharp. Don't know who the photographer was, but it's superb work.

Was the oval office that flat-white oval shape just to the east of the western-most building...facing the Residence?

And aren't they lucky to be living in countries were they have the FREEDOM to protest and express their opinions. The irony of that is never lost on me.....
