TEHRAN, Iran - The president of Iran again lashed out at Israel on Friday and said it was "heading toward annihilation," just days after Tehran raised fears about its nuclear activities by saying it successfully enriched uranium for the first time.

Will the world witness mushroom clouds within months to a year from now? It's not only a first the Iran may have nukes but it's also a first to actually threaten to use them. When it comes to nuclear war...just the threat could start it off. Israel may decide it's better to nuke them before they nuke first. I mean, if somebody points a gun at you and they say they want to kill you. Do you wait until they pull the trigger or do you pull yours first?
Will the liberals stand and protest the west on national tv and give this Iranian nut-case a false sense of support as they did to Saddam pre-Iraq War?

they didn't hate the jews. it was the book told them how bad is jews, such as kill the prophet and others. in modern world, anything either earthquake or typhoon or others...everything blame on the jews. let us say, that is no more jews, the chirstian will be hated coz' we simply say that Jesus is Son of GOD. If we don't want to be hated, best is to convert into Muslim. One big proble is Jesus promise He will come back together with army of angel. He will rescue those who stil faith in Him. That will be no second choice for explaination. So, my suggestion is better die in faith that Jesus is Son of God rather go to Hell. We have 2 choice....sad.

Spot on. The Russians, Venezuelans and Iranians can profit immensely by maintaining a sense of dread. Eventually the markets will wring out the emotion and adjust to this low level of hostility, but in the short term, definitely a smart move by the largest exporters. I sense Rumfeld and company are playing to the economic markets when they purr about peaceful regime change in Iran. They can't be serious. That's crazy talk unless you're trying to calm markets.
