This guy is on there now talking down the war effort. Talking down Rummy. Telling his guest (General) "this Administration wants Americans to believe Saddam was responsible for 9/11." This guy is so transparent. He's better off in "The Situation Room" with Blitzer and Cafferty. Touting the six retired Officers calling for Rummy's head. Shep is just trashing the effort. Drama Queen.

I never did liked Shep Smith. You can't tell where he came from, where he's been, or where he's going! YUK. You're right, he'd fit and be a hit at CNN! LOL, Smartass poetry.
"Ping" told you all that, huh?? LOL.
I don't watch him often but he tends to get hyper about things.
"When that self-loving creep comes on the tube, I hit the mute button."
I change channels. Shemp, is just another typical 'actor' that recites the news in vaudevillian style.
LOL, I read the opening thread. When Shep Smith comes on the air, I usually change channels. He's just a useless talking head, that makes little or no sense. I never could figure out what "SkinnerVille" was all about?
I never have figured out Skinnerville is about either other than Shep getting some cookies from time to time. They seem to do a little flirting but then Shep is a good actor!
Shep Smith Belongs On CNN

No, I didn't. The statement was:
Shep is real, biased, sometimes over the top, but fair and balanced.
His treatment of the Swiftboat Vets was neither fair nor balanced. In fact, it was a clear case of professional negligence and malfeasance.
If you want to watch a bona fide Conservative news show, watch either Neil Cavuto or Brit Hume and that should satisfy you for the day.
Not on Shep's show. He flatly called them liars, with no chance for them to confront him and defend themselves. The issue is Shepard Smith, not the rest of Fox News. What the rest of the Fox shows did is irrelevant as far as the question of Shep's character and ethics is concerned.
Shep showed his biases, but he didn't keep the swift boat guys off of the TV. That is what George was talking about and what you pointed to just proved what George was saying, that Shep has his biases and doesn't try to hide them.
Again, I "proved" nothing of the sort. Yes, George was "talking about" Shep's biases, but his contention was that DESPITE those flaws Shep was still one of the good guys because he was still "fair and balanced". I simply pointed out a glaring instance of Shep's unprofessional lack of fairness and balance, which contradicts George's contention.
If you like Shep, that's just fine. As for me, I have no respect or use for him, for the reasons I gave.
