Illegals’ Rallies Alien-ate Voters (big-time backlash---Dims losing ground)
NY Post ^ | April 14, 2006 | Deborah Orin

..........voters are starting to tilt toward get-tough Republicans on immigration - and those massive protest rallies by illegal aliens waving flags have backfired.

Republicans are now more trusted on immigration - 37%trust them on the issue, while just 31% trust Democrats...........

That marks a Democratic slide from 10 days earlier, when both parties were equally trusted on the hot issue.

Thirty-eight percent said they trusted Republicans and 37 percent trusted Democrats. “The Democrats lost ground,” said pollster Scott Rasmussen. “I suspect there’s backlash against the rallies, and the Democrats appear to be against enforcement.

.............57 percent of Americans want a barrier built along the Mexican border, even though only 42 percent think it would really cut illegal immigration.

John McCain is the senator in the state I live in. I have voted Libertarian the past two elections in protests. So do many other other conservatives. McCain is adored by Democrats who vote for him en masse.

But last night AOL Commie News fires up my computer with "Who do you like between these two? The buzz is over Hillary and McCain." The socialists who generate this tripe are taking polls only featuring candidates they endorse and at the top is McMania.

McCain is one of the most vile, evil, contemptible people on earth. He is a world class betrayer and cretin.

GW and the rest of the powers that be decided NAFTA and CAFTA weren't doing the job of bringing prosperity to third world nations in this hemisphere, so we're 'integrating' with Mexico. A Mexican govt. official said exactly that, smirking. (They're integrating with us on their terms.) Fox is telling every able-bodied peasant left in Mexico to head for Canada...'Canada needs cheap labor'. Fox also demands that the US 'invest in rebuilding Mexico's infrastructure to lure Mexicans back home'. Is this cheaper than invading Mexico and fixing the whole country -- think in terms of Iraq. (Meanwhile, African 'experts' want the US to fix Africa, too. US advisers are going to Darfur(sp.?). Are you tearing your hair out yet?)

My take on the demonstrations is this: Average Americans came away from all the news coverage thinking, "Damn, I didn't realize there were THAT many of them."

And that my friend is the unfortunate situation America finds itself in and are helpless to do anything about because we are at the mercy of our elected officials and the lobbyists, and Bill Gates!!!!!!

Japan has an ancient common culture. Ours is obviously a lot newer, but what we had we seem to have lost to the cause of diversity. You may want to reconsider returning ;)

That has been my hunch for years. From what I understand I.D. is rarely asked for when people vote. I don't understand it, how can it not be asked for in this day & age? I am always ready with my I.D. and I am never asked for it.

Go here and see what is happening in McCain's life.

Click on the box where it says job application.

I am not from Arizona so I don't the location of Yuma. Is it far enough north to grow lettuce and do they have large lettuce fields?

What boggles the mind is that MEXICO does a better job of stopping illegals than we do.

The MEXICAN constitution is very strict about immigration - but when it comes to America - we are required to bend over and grab our ankles.

that means to pander to folks like yourself

Awww, John, you've gone out and made a fool of yourself by underestimating me.

I don't get "pandered" to by pointless language that lacks teeth, and I won't be on this issue. My Congress Critters have already heard from me (as has the President), and they will again - as often as need be until we get the laws that have real teeth and enforcement action associated with them.

I'm a lot smarter than I look, John.

It makes no difference what those amendments were. Would of, could of, should of didn't happen.

Show me your links where the American people were for the McCain/ Kennedy bill? The merican people are for border security #4437.

Your arguments remind me of those during campaign finance reform especially when Bush signed the bill. Everyone here thought Bush was brilliant as it went to the supreme court and they would over turn it. That didn't happen. My suggestion to you is to listen to what Bush says and not what Sean, Rush, Hume or anyone else thinks he says.

Sorry, can't blame Mexifornia's status on illegals - it is the idiotic, drugged out, brain damaged, voting residents of that state that put it where it is today. There are too many of them for the 12 rational, conservatives to counteract.

You should look at a map, texas. Yuma is in the southwestern corner of the state, not too far from the border w/Mesco or the CA state line.

You are right. I think it was shocking to see that many illegals demonstrating and demanding. The demonstration woke up a lot of Americans

These illegal jokers are lawbreakers, and are actually demanding "rights" they are not entitled to.

True and they are being incited to 'march' by the Socialist/Marxist/Communists whose agenda is anything but American.
