Illegal aliens' pink elephants: Kevin McCullough reveals high level of violent crime
WorldNetDaily.com ^ | Friday, April 14, 2006 | Kevin McCullough

Illegal aliens (I refuse to ever again use the word immigrant in this context) commit violent crime. They commit a lot of violent crime. The latest numbers I've seen or heard put the national population of our nation's prisons as being composed roughly 27 percent by illegals. But you sure don't hear about this much.

And we know why!

Spineless Democrats know that focusing on such numbers would send a shiver down the spine of true God-fearing, rule-of-law Americans. But spineless Democrats are hoping to turn the estimated 12 million illegals who are here into potential voters – so don't count on them to bring this bit of information up.

And the rather feckless members of the Republican Party are just as bad. Instead of focusing on the important work of stopping people whose identity we don't know from coming here, they played footsy in the Senate, choosing instead how to carve up the pie of illegals already here. Important point to be made here: There were a number of strong Republicans who did not walk in lockstep with the Arlen Specter's of the chamber, but their voices were drowned out by the agenda-driven media.

But back to my point: Illegal aliens have been, are still now, and in all likelihood will continue to commit violent crimes. Need proof?

Fine ... how about yesterday?

Francisco Serrano had been hailed weeks back as a true immigrant success story. Supposedly trying hard to overcome his circumstances, he had even resorted to sleeping in his public high-school auditorium. The press hailed him as a hero. The student body held pep rallies. When the local news featured him, one man from the community even came forward and offered to pay for an immigration attorney to help him sort out his status. (Not that much help was needed – his status was clear: He was illegal.)

He had stolen – oops, I mean "foraged" – food from the high-school cafeteria. He had been showering in the lockeroom. He told his family in Mexico that he had fallen in love with America, and that he wanted to get a job and send money back to them.

Well who wouldn't love it if you were mooching a place to sleep, stealing your food from the gigantic school kitchen pantry, and being called a hero for it?

Bad news came from the courts though ... turns out he was illegal, and as shocking and controversial as it was, a judge said he actually had to return to his home country.

The cameras followed him from his sad classroom home, capturing the tears as they ran down his cheeks, with classmates in tow and cameras zooming in he was marched to the Minneapolis airport.

Turns out, he didn't get on the plane though. I guess all that hiding in trash bins, stealing food and sneaking behind locked doors worked out for him. Francisco had a new plan. His dad was moving to Connecticut and he decided to go with him.

Then somehow, again with the sneaky stuff, he winds up being arrested in Boston wielding a knife, and telling the people whose home he was standing in that he wasn't there to steal, he was there to kill.

And now that the cameras are turned back on him, he's declared that he's suicidal.

On the debate on illegal aliens, stop telling me to feel sorry for people who have broken the law, and who are likely to break more laws. Stop telling me it's my "Christian duty" to be passive on the issue of illegals entering the country. If you believe this, it is you who has the theological problem – not me.

I've used an illustration on the air repeatedly in the past three weeks to describe my biggest objection to the explosion of illegals coming across the border.

How many of us would tolerate a stranger entering our home threatening our wives and children and demanding the right to stay? If this happened, I would throw myself between the stranger and my family and, if necessary, break his nose, arms, legs or take his life if he posed a fatal threat to the ones I loved. I would do so not because I could instantly tell his intentions, but because he crossed appropriate boundaries and his mere presence was a violation of the sovereignty of my home.

The many times I've told the illustration, I never had a face and a name to put with it. I guess Francisco Serrano took care of that for me – which brings me back to my main point: Illegal Aliens commit violent crimes.

Yep. And there's this notion we no right to control whoever appears in our country and must surrender to all their demands. If we do that, we don't deserve to have this country our forefathers bequeathed to us. Just like that, sooner or later, America will cease to exist.

So about 4.5% of the people living in our country are illegal aliens. Yet 27% of the people in our prisons are illegal aliens--a prison population rate 6 times greater than the national population rate!

Do illegal aliens work 6 times harder than us legal residents? Do they pay 6 times more taxes? Use one-sixth the amount of welfare? No, no, and no!

I'm tired of being told how hard working these people are. Compared to almost every other country in the world, Americans are and always have been amongst the hardest working and most productive. The statistics clearly point out that those who break our immigration laws work very hard and are successful at breaking our other laws. Why isn't this a surprise?

On the local Denver Fox Newcast tonight all the criminal stories involved people with Hispanic names and two of those were definitely illegals. One was the cop killer from last year Raul Gomez-Garcia--his trial date was set today after being sent back from Mexico. Another one was Pedro Martinez who kidnapped a girl at knifepoint. He had only been deported 4 times but somehow still managed to be in the good ole U.S.A.

One thing I have learned from growing up on the border and from 3.5 years living in Latin America is that the Latin Culture has never experienced many of the "culture altering" events that we historically take for granted. Yes there was Simon Bolivar, but he merely liberated the "rabi blancos" from Spain. They have NEVER had a "Civil Rights" movement. They have NEVER made any kind of serious effort to have "equality". They have a VERY stratified society. If you are a descendant of Spanish then you are "elite" and if you are not you are a peasant. PERIOD. END OF STORY. What you see when you see illegals here are their PEASANTS who are sick of living in a society of UNEQUALS.

Latins culture is plagued with a problem that is inseperable from the culture itself. The "Mordida". The "bribe". You can have the "arm" put on you at any time by anyone with any small amount of authority at anytime. This runs through their culture from the cop on the beat to the very top. People who fix your plumbing, you name it they all will actually do what their supposed to "for a little extra". This is why their economies are so sluggish, no outsider can invest if he can't project what the actual costs will be. This is why "their own", the rabi blancos are all "made men".

Check for yourself, there are more millionaires in Mexico than in the U.S. We are being played for suckers here by our own politicians and media. I read that of the 5 million jobs created here in the last 5 years 9 of ten of them are being held by illegals. With this kind of downward pressure on our economy how can it be "doing well?" It isn't, they are just playing with the numbers. Clinton did it and now Bush is doing the same thing. As long as there is "full employment" the numbers look good. Truth is it is worse than with NAFTA where Americans had to compete with foreign labor that was "over there", now we have to compete with foreign labor that is right here.

Mexico should be forced to deal with it's own poor and disaffected. Latin America needs to undergo a huge Civil Rights movement of it's own to end the centuries of racism and corruption that are holding it back. As long as we let them slough their poor underclass on us we are "enabling" their practices that we wouldn't tolerate here.

The logic we hear surrounding the illegals is so ridiculous Jay Leno uses it nightly as comedy.

Jay Leno: “This bill they were trying to pass, basically, the bill they were trying to come up with would allow illegals who have been here more than two years to work towards becoming American citizens. Now does this work? I mean, if your argument is illegals do the work Americans won't do, when you become Americans, does that mean they won't want to do that work anymore, either?"

What about the logic, Illegals who break our laws cannot be convicted of a felony?

Illegals will never be convicted of tax evasion.

Illegals who sneak in thru our revolving door border cannot be convicted they must be rewarded.

Illegals can demand our children NOT wave the AMERICAN flag.

Illegals in mass obscene numbers can takeover our streets and cities demonstrating.

Illegals can get every freebie that the good people of the U.S.A. offers without having to prove they are legal.

Illegals can THREATEN this great country like threatening to shut down our ports and when comgress retuens wanna bet what they decide to do about the illegals? Why reward them with every thing they can.

Instead of being on a watch list for terroism they can, and do, and will do anything they da*n please!

WHY and how you ask?

Because the ones with the POWER rule, the lobbyists and people like Bill Gates say so.
What message does this send the world and every criminal out there? You figure it out.

This administration won't lift a finger to stop illegals pouring in. Even if illegals murdered half of Arizona, they'd find a reason to look the other way. Why? Because 'integration' of the US with Mexico and then the rest of the hemispere is what they've been after all along. Why? Because they hope to energize those other countries into a free market bonanza...jobs, jobs, jobs, plus free flow of goods and millions of new purchasers. Big business is drooling.

After the end of the Cold War, big business and the CFR decided we could avoid war if everyone in the world lived decently, jobs, freedom, etc.. The US would be the target of envy and anger if we didn't 'share' the wealth of our capitalist system, etc., and happy people start wars. All this makes perfect sense in some thesis paper, but they didn't figure on differences among peoples. (Not PC thinking, alas, but reality.) Asians were quicker, smarter, and seized most of the outsourced US jobs despite NAFTA and CAFTA. The CFR didn't foresee that everyone below the border would simply head for the US when jobs vanished and Mexican corruption continued as usual.

Not to worry, the powers that be were resourceful and quickly came up with Plan B.: sit tight and let 'em come in. Soon so many will be in the US that we won't be able to send them back without a great deal of expense. That's where we are now. And it's probably closer to 25 million illegals already here, not 11. Mexico is being depopulated. I bet the CFR didn't think about that.

It all started at the top. We were cut off from the debate before we ever had a chance to have one.

THE "NEW AMERICAN"

We are now one of the largest Spanish-speaking nations in the world. We're a major source of Latin music, journalism and culture.

Just go to Miami, or San Antonio, Los Angeles, Chicago or West New York, New Jersey ... and close your eyes and listen. You could just as easily be in Santo Domingo or Santiago, or San Miguel de Allende.

For years our nation has debated this change -- some have praised it and others have resented it. By nominating me, my party has made a choice to welcome the new America.

As I speak, we are celebrating the success of democracy in Mexico.

George Bush from a campaign speech in Miami, August 2000.

You can read the speech here.

Here is an excerpt of a good critique of that speech:

In equating our intimate historic bonds to our mother country and to Canada with our ties to Mexico, W. shows a staggering ignorance of the civilizational facts of life. The reason we are so close to Britain and Canada is that we share with them a common historical culture, language, literature, and legal system, as well as similar standards of behavior, expectations of public officials, and so on. Another area of silence associated with the illegals sneaking in is the increasing spread of third-world diseases.

That remains hush hush.

wow, a fantastic post. Bush is so wrong on this issue. I sometimes wonder if Laura (the nurturer) isn't pushing him on this. Bush seem's to be so out of touch with "real Americans" on this issue. I truly fear Amnesty will be in this bill. It would be so easy to build a wall across the border -- it just takes the will.
