I had I think a 4lb or 5lb tin for Christmas and the same of the Heroes which are miniatures of their larger chocolate bars. The Roses are gone but the Heroes I have not opened yet as their best before is October I have plenty of time :o).

I like to get extra at Christmas because the prices are always much keener than Easter and normally you can only get the larger tins at Christmas and Easter.

MUST READS/VIEW:

KARL ROVE'S SPEECH AT THE HOUSTON FORUM
In Houston, TX, Karl Rove speaks at The Houston Forum about the Republican agenda.
4/12/2006: HOUSTON, TX : 1 hr. 5 min.

I highly recommend that you watch at least the Q&A section of this speech . . . I happened upon it last night and was thoroughly enthralled and enlightened! [Among other things, Karl provided some amazing insights into the President's EXHAUSTING work schedule and responsibilities -- someone needs to post this link to TONY SNOW tomorrow morning!!! . . . Rove also provided an excellent overview of the Administration's ACTUAL (vs demagogued) position on illegal immigration!]

TROOPS IN SUPPORT OF THE WAR
By Wade Zirkle
Thursday, April 13, 2006; Page A21

Earlier this year there was a town hall meeting on the Iraq war, sponsored by Rep. Jim Moran (D-Va.), with the participation of such antiwar organizations as CodePink and MoveOn.org. The event also featured Rep. John Murtha (D-Pa.), a former Marine who had become an outspoken critic of the war. To this Iraq war veteran, it was a good example of something that's become all too common: People from politics, the media and elsewhere purporting to represent "our" views. With all due respect, most often they don't.

The tenor of the town meeting was mostly what one might expect, but during the question-and-answer period, a veteran injured in Afghanistan stood up to offer his view. "If I didn't have a herniated disc, I would volunteer to go to Iraq in a second with my troops," said Mark Seavey, a former Army sergeant who had recently returned from Afghanistan. "I know you keep saying how you have talked to the troops and the troops are demoralized, and I really resent that characterization. The morale of the troops I talk to is phenomenal, which is why my troops are volunteering to go back despite the hardships. . . ."

PRESIDENTIAL COMMENCEMENT ADDRESSES
President Bush will deliver commencement addresses at four colleges this year, including a community college hit by Hurricane Katrina.

The White House announced Thursday that Bush will speak May 6 at Oklahoma State University, May 11 at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, May 27 at the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, N.Y., and June 19 at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, which was attended by Bush's outgoing White House chief of staff, Andrew Card.

Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College suffered tens of millions of dollars in damage and lost a quarter of its student enrollment after Katrina.

DELAY ON SHORT LIST FOR OMB JOB
Apr. 13, 2006 at 7:58AM
The White House is looking at a list of cost-cutting candidates to head the Office of Management and Budget, and Rep. Tom DeLay, R-Texas, may be on it.

PLEASE, please, please let this be true! . . . I would soooooooooooo love to watch Pelosi/Schumer/Reid's heads explode over this!!
