All nonsense..

It's been a few years, but I recall that all previous tests on these systems have shown them to be rather useless..
Also rather expensive..

Sounds like politicians lining their pockets to me..

from the article it seems pretty slick. it cant pick up human voice, but can pinpoint and contact the police regarding gunfire.

A gunshot detection system? I didn't read the article, but huh? As somebody else posted, isn't that what ears are for?

I've been told the system they have in Baghdad works very well at locating which area sniper fire came from.
