I just saw this and was about to post it.

Let me be the first to say: "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Hollywood, take that.

The MSM better take another poll to relieve their sorrows over this disaster.

Just imagine that network TV put on a show about a real Conservative president. He'd be humble. He'd hire blacks for positions of power. He'd explain supply and demand, and the laffer curve, and free trade to people. His opponents would be mush-brained senators who talk about feelings, criticize everything, and have no idea what they want to see in place of what they criticized.

Would it be a comedy? Would it be a drama? I don't know. But I bet it would be more popular than Geena Davis.

I think a show like that could attract a real audience. It could be a real money-maker for the network. Of course, they'd rather drop dead than make a pilot for that.

But at season's end, the New York senator's handlers are surely hoping that real life does not imitate the art.

Hillary would first have to actually get elected for life to imitate art, and I really can't see that happening. Heck, if Canada has now gone to a Conservative government, I find it hard to believe the US will revert back to a Lib government.

Every thing's a freakin fad to the Rats and MSM. They remind me of a high school where a bunch of girls get together and discuss the newest style of shoes and how ugly the girl is that can't afford them (giggle, giggle).

I have the biggest grin on my face right now ... couldn't have happened to a nicer liberal.

Buh bye, Geena.

The program returns this evening after a long recess -- with the president's husband groping an intern!

Huh?

Did anyone actually watch this show?

I watched the show the first couple of weeks. Zzzzzzzz! What a dull show. I really don't know why I expected more.

In general, government shows are boring. I watched E-Ring a couple of times also. Same result - Zzzzzzz.

The only recent exception I can think of is 24. Now a 24 style government program might be interesting. If Ted Kennedy threatens a fillibuster which will consume the next 12 episode, Jack Bauer could just kneecap him and demand an immediate vote.

Wasn't it reported to be a smash hit when it first came out? Just wishful thinking by the leftist media I guess.

TV executives at ABC have all but decided to pull the plug on the breakthrough drama

Without a doubt, that is the stupidest sentence I have seen . . . . . . . today (I have seen stupider ones, that's why I qualified it). Someday, although probably not in my lifetime, Hollyweird may get a clue just how far out of touch it is and how much mainstream America is tuning them and their liberal message out. But I doubt it. These people live in a make-believe world in which the commoners (us) adore and admire them and do everything they tell us.

Hate to break this to them but some of us have important things to do in life - like posting comments on FReepublic.

Davis' last good role was as a blond bimbo in "Earth Girls are Easy." Nice bod then. Now, just one more out of work, aging, bitter Hollywood Leftist.

I thought it was canceled a long time ago. Shows you just how much (or little?) I paid attention to it.

I watched the first few shows. They weren't bad actually. Lots of political intrigue and Geena Davis is terrific actress.

But when the plots looked to me like they were going to concentrate on the teenagers problems and the "First Dads" difficulties playing a second fiddle role I walked away and never looked back. Too bad actually. It could have been a decent show but it died like most of the rest from terrible plots and terrible writing.
