Oh sheesh MA!
The landscape guys were here today and got the yard done, but we had a TALK about that darned holly, LOL!
They dug around a little, we'll see if what they did cures the problem. They really are trying to avoid digging up the yard!

I look forward to working in the garden. :) I love bulbs too. Dahlias, Calla Lilies, Cannas are my favorites in summer.
I love tulips and the daffodils. I planted tulips but the squirrels always replant them. I wonder where they will come up this year. ;)

The Staircase had some real shocks, but it was
way too long. It's a six hour television documentary about the real life Michael Peterson-Kathleen Peterson murder trial now out on DVD.
The story could have used a lot of editing, but the early episodes, before the case went to trial had more than any other documentary's share of shocks. The second half of the series was more routine and took in a sixty day trial. If you don't know the story, it will surprise you. Maybe it could be cut down to a more manageable length some time.
The Staircase has a military angle -- Peterson was a veteran and war novelist --, also a tie-in to today's news -- the trial was in Durham, NC (This isn't the Scott Peterson-Lacey Peterson case).
Michael Peterson is one sick dude, sick enough to kill and lie about it afterwards, but did he? Was the evidence really all there, or did people just jump to conclusions? Anyway, there's a lot to think about there.

Dr. Strangelove for sure.
Battleship Potemkin
Seven Samurai
Citizen Kane
I'll try to remember the rest. There were only 12 films in the class and we had to write papers on three of them.

It would work on Mojo, huh?
