President Bush traveled today to Jefferson City, Missouri, where he participated in a conversation with seniors about the Medicare prescription drug benefit program at the Etta and Joseph Miller Performing Arts Center. He also visited the Lutheran Senior Services Community at Heisinger Bluffs Senior Center in Jefferson City, before traveling to Des Moines, Iowa to visit the Wesley Acres Senior Center in Des Moines, Iowa with Senator Chuck Grassle, and to attend a reception for gubernatorial candidate Rep. Jim Nussle .
First Lady Laura was in Midland, Texas for the official dedication of the childhood home of the President, along with former President George H.W. Bush and former First Lady Barbara Bush.
LOTS of good pics today, so enjoy your trip to Sanity Island on the Daily Dose!
Good evening and thanks for the dose
So they're spending Easter at Camp David...gee, that's too bad for the protesters.
See you later, Right!
Good evening, Fudd Fan!
Indeed! Lovely people!
I just baked a cherry pie (ok, it was a frozen Mrs.Smith's) but it smells GREAT!
You're welcome, snugs. Gotta do the prayer thread now, but I'll be back shortly.
Laura in lime green and Barbara in powder blue.
VERY NICE!
LOL! Good strategery to go to Camp David.
Hey there...good to see this. I accidentally saw Obermann talking to Howie Kurtz about our President having no credibility when he talks about Iran plans due to having none in regard to making misleading statements about Iraq plans way back when. Before I smashed the screen, I made my way to your oasis of truth. Presto...my mood changed! Thanks!!! And that's a fetching first photo, if I might say so.
MAN that crib is tiny can you imagine that Dubya spent his childhood in that tiny crib YES SNUG unfortunaley Dick Cheney got boo at Wasington Nationals game I am nor surprise at all
Probably bunch of NY Mets or Yankees fans they have reputation go hardcore on Politicans
Darn straight. We got a smart Pres :) I just hope he gets some peace and quiet at Camp David.
Hope it's not my imagination, but GWB looks a bit more rested today. At least the photos tonight suggest to me he's nicely relaxed at that Q&A.
Rummy let one of the reporters have it today. I am glad.
I am beginning to think the media is on a completely different plane of reality. Their coverage, comments, and polls just do not reflect anything that I see in my daily life. I am so glad we can check on what's happening here at The Dose!
He sure looks like he was in a pretty good mood today.
Thanks for the great work, as always, Ohio.
Laura seems so fond of her daddy-in-law.
Hi Ohio!
Watched you fight the good fight around here today. Good job. And excellent dose once again.
It must be Tuesday!
Thanks for the Dose tonight, OWF. I loved seeing especially the president's parents in #14.
Granted, I was out of the house most of the day, but my guess is the television carried very little if any of today's presidential activities.
I just read that Rumsfeld was asked by a reporter if he'd read and disputed a book about the runup to war in Iraq and Rumsfeld said "I have a day job. And if I read all the stuff your group wrote, I wouldn't have time to do that job." (paraphase) Gotta love it!
re: post 11
Really good pics here of our beloved POTUS!
Thanks for doing such a good job OhioWfan!
