Too bad it isn't infuriating the unions so we could get some meaningful things done in congress.

The Unions seem to think this crowd will rebuild their membership. Heard stories they were out recruiting at these things

Is Northgate still running? I still have a keyboard made by them that is 15+ years old and works like the day it was made.

My poor lunch (it will be poor for the next month while my wife is visiting parents in Thailand) was a hastily put together turkey sandwich, pretzels, and chocolate chip cookies.

Trade you for the bland tuna casserole I made yesterday.

Hmmmm...I can make a sandwich but not a tuna casserole. I'll consider it. But it'll be a lot of Burger King and Steak n'Fries for the next few weeks...

Quick Economics lesson.

5% Unemployment is considered "full employment" Since that is the lowest number Economist think the Economy can achieve. You always have about 5% employing the marginally employable (Personality Problems, Physical/Mental Handicappes, Drug abuse etc)(usual figured at 1-1.5% of the labor poll) or the Unemployable (Lame, the Sick, the Criminal.

The fact is SOME areas, do to economically hostile policies of State Govts., have much higher unemployment rates. That is the problem of the State Govt, not the Feds.

Hello,

Re: Doom and Gloom Dems. Remember the show Hee Haw (my dad loved it). There was a song they sang as a lead in to a skit (I think) that went:

Doom, Despair and Agony on me
Deep dark depression, excessive misery
If it weren't for bad luck, I 'd have no luck at all
Doom, Despair and Agony on me

Would make a great theme song for the Doom and Gloomers on the Left.

Glad to be here, MOgirl

Kris also stated there is no way the BICE can check the 12 to 20 million applying for amnesty

Yep. And how many illegals just came to our country yesterday for the "protests" sensing that an amnesty bill will soon happen.

I fear America does not have to will to stop this invasion from our Southern border.

In retrospect, this must be what an invasion looks like, historically speaking,...No alarm ever sounded...it happened with our eyes wide open...we lost America.

This is my first season of watching 24. But I get the feel that things are coming together too neatly, that the person to blame is too out in the open now. I keep waiting for someone else to end up being behind it all. Some things don't seem consistent for me.

5% Unemployment is considered "full employment"

So if Hitlery says the replacement jobs are basically burger flipping jobs, ow will she use government to make better paying jobs?

I smell socialism.

Rush is right about these radical groups. They are simply using a topic to bash us with. Unfortunately we are doing a great job of dividing ourselves. I hope we don't let them wreck the country like Rush says.

Based on Rush's interview with the '24' Guys, the president on the show isn't supposed to be like Bush, but is more like Nixon. BY that, I take it they mean he is covering up actions he thinks need to be done. Yet, to me that describes LBJ more than Nixon.
