I agree with you, just a couple of questions in addition though:

What happens when posters who are anti-American but loves the EU/China or whatever signs up and posts flaming anti-US posts? I have seen quite a few Europosters and Chinese nationalists registered over the last couple of months and some of their manners are extremely obnoxious. Others are slightly more polite but there is no doubt they DO NOT intend to listen to conservative arguments - but rather, trying to persuade us to their (Euro-socialist/Chinese nationalist) viewpoints. Should these be given the boot?

And are there criteria specifically for non-US posters? Some would consider themselves conservatives/nationalists relative to their own country's interests, but they perceive their country's national interests directly conflict with those of the United States of America. So they believe they must work against the United States' interests. Should these posters be welcomed here as well?

Many thanks in advance, and keep up the work.

I've caught what, I'm pretty sure, were pro-homosexualist apologists here on occasion - usually when some big gay issue was in the public spotlight. They just spout their propaganda and eventually leave. I guess they don't like the atmosphere.

I happen to be an " Europoster " from Belgium to be specific
I also happen to love the U.S.A
Partly because I remember our debt to you partly because I am sick and tired by our Socialist Euro-Government corruption and incompetence
Partly because I understand that the Western nation have to hang together or " will be hanged separately "
Mostly because while not perfect your nation remains the best hope for Humanity and most specifically so for any man who calls himself " Free "

Bump...good points, NZerFromHK

Some prominent and obnoxious ChiCom trolls come to mind (if you know who I mean). One of these trolls has been consistently abusing FR in his posts but is shameless enough to post repeatedly here.

My best advice is to find out where they came from, and give them a taste of their own medicine.

There was a Sino-fascist message board-many of whose members supported the PRC tyranny in practice, if not theory-that the PWIC combated last year in a pretty effective online operation.

Once you start posting to their sites and Web forums-and begin to challenge their intellectually disingenuous, fallacious arguments-they start to cower like cornered mice.

You'll usually wind up being banned in short order, but it's worth it, IMO.

I don't know that I'd state it as strongly as "So they believe they must work against the United States' interests."

I am grateful the US decided to support us when Australia declared war on the Japanese Empire - you helped ssme.

However it remains that Americans have the tendency to be barbarians and believe the customs of their tribe are the laws of nature. And that the world would be better if forced into the American mould. The world's gonna resist.

I beileve that every society has the right to "be conservative" - to build on the traditions of their society. I would hope that they build in the direction of individual liberty, but that's just the libertarian in me.

Their society may no be of what I approve, but forcing them to chsnge will make them unhappy. Every revolutionary attempt to drastically change - be it Platonic, Roundhead, Jacobean, Bolshevik, Fascist, Taliban, or Christian Reconstrictuonist - is likely to turn out badly.

The best a society can hope to do is build on its tradition of the wisdom of the ages.

Edmund Burke pointed out that no generation has a monopoly on wisdom - we are not more intelligent than our ancestors, or wiser than out descendents. Therefore no single vison - ours, or even Lao Tzu, Moses, Buddha, Jesus, Mohammad - will get everything right.

The Republican Party and Evangelical Christianity may be conservative in US society, but to a lot of the world they look pretty revolutionary.
