Please mark your calendars to be in Washington, D.C. on Sunday, April 23, 2006 for a rally calling on the federal government to secure our borders, enforce our immigration laws and to not give amnesty to illegal aliens.
A formal announcement will be coming soon after a few details are worked out. Time is short, so I wanted to give everyone a heads up that something is in the works.
Please note, this will not be a rally for those who hate immigrants. This will be a rally for those who love America and want to preserve it for all Americans and legal immigrants.

Yes, and that's all part of the "enforcement" from the last amnesty. For which a grand total of three -- count 'em, 3 -- employers were busted last year.

You probably don't want to hear this from me, but a counter protest is the dumbest possible thing that Conservatives could do. First, there is no way to bring out the numbers anywhere near that of the illegals, and the media would make great hay with the comparison. Second, you can be sure that any Conservative protest would be met with people who's sole mission would be to cause disruption and possible violence, further discrediting your mission. You can count on people dressed as KKK members coming to 'support' your rally. The Republican party would never recover from it. I hope those planning border security rallies will take note and knock it off, because it is a recipe for disaster. Be smart and take your battle to the ballot box, don't put yourself in front of the media as a target for however they wish to display you. It is a bad, bad idea.

Calls and faxes are good, but sometimes we need to show up. Show up if you can -- ping others, email friends -- but if you can't show up, keep the cards, letters, calls, faxes, and emails pouring into Congress.

I really get angry when illegal immigrants try to compare their situation with that of our black people, for there is just no comparison. The black people of the USA do have rights promised to them by our constitution. The illegals are just not in the same situation at all. They are law breakers and our nation has failed us in upholding the law.
They need to go now.

People often try to cause disruption at rallies. We've had impostors show up and try to make us look bad. They only make themselves look bad.
It is important to get out there and make a showing. Keyboard patriotism is nice, but doesn't cut the mustard. 'Pod.
