It doesn't matter much to me if you read this, but it will be on the record.
I am as rational, as emotionally and spiritually grounded, and as intellectually honest as anyone on this forum, and even those with whom I disagree know it. I'm not sure what your reasons are for being afraid of me, but they are certainly not rational.
The bottom line to me, is that you do not have the right to curtail my free speech. You have the right to ignore it, but you do not have the right to tell me not to say it. Not here. Not anywhere.
So, I will not allow myself to be bullied by a boy from Atlanta who doesn't even have the courage to do it out in the open.
I will post to you when I see fit............when I see that you have said something that I disagree with, and I will continue to behave in the responsible and rational manner in which I always have done on this forum.
Your attempts to silence me have failed, and the underhanded manner in which you tried to do it speak far more to your own weakness than it does mine. I will not go out of my way to disagree with you, but when I see a post of yours that has errors in it, I will reply to it as I see fit. What you do in response is up to you........but no more abusive name calling freepmails.

I did not convey my thoughts well if that is what you got out of it.
I respect you as a person and can't express enough gratitude to your son who is bravely serving in Iraq. I'm sure that in the real world that you are very nice person and I would have no problem with you.
On the boards though, we just don't get along. Our posting to each other just disrupts the threads. I want to be a postive asset to FR and discussions with you just weren't productive to forum community. They were also unfair to others on the thread as our discussions were a detriment the to thread rather than an asset. To be clear, I'm not blaming you - we just see the world in such a different way that we clash.
Of course you can post to me - it's certainly within the board rules. It's just that I'm not going to make an effort to engage you in a discussion because it just isn't healthy for either one of us.
If you want to challenge one of my posts then I certainly don't mind that all. It wouldn't even matter if I did mind as I certainly don't have the right to tell you which posts you can reply to. It's just that I'm not going to address any of your points. I don't mean this in a negative way toward you but it's a better course of action to take. Life is already full of frustrating things, FR should be a fulfulling experience and not a frustrating one.

I have not read the exchanges between you two, but I know ohioWfan very well, and she is the real deal; a patriotic, Chrisitian LADY in every sense of the words 'patriotic, Christian and lady,' and I am proud to have her as my dear abd cherished FRiend.
I'm willing to wager we're all on the same side, so the feuds are likely SMALL.
You're a great poster, OWF, and I know with your well thought out post you will be able to work out differences with most posters on the forum.
My dear FRiend, you are one of the most level-headed, honest, (not to mention courageous) posters I know.
As for me, I have a firm policy to not open freepmail from FReepers I'm not familiar with. I let them know I haven't read the mail, why that's my policy, and encourage them to post to me on the board so I can get to know them better.
It's a policy that's served me well.
