Immigration Rallies Live Thread Day 2
4-10-06 | Danae

Posted on 04/10/2006 8:24:37 AM PDT by Danae

Welcome back all concerned!

Just to clarify, this is a thread discussing both what is happening LIVE across the country as Illegal Immigrants protest their Illegality, and what to do about it. Let's discuss VIABLE options as to what to do about this issue. I have a sneaking suspicion that this "Protest" of American LAW is going to be pretty big. I predict that there is going to be a LOT of pandering to these 11 million or so criminals by our Politicians. I sincerely hope not. To any and all Politicos of all parties, WE the PEOPLE are watching you, and LISTENING to what you are going to say today. 289 million of us LEGAL citizens will see with pristine clarity just WHO in the Political arena is looking out for US, the people who VOTED you into Office in the first place. The biggest question on my mind and perhaps one or two others is: Are you going to protect and serve as you promised and swore to up-hold the Constitution or not? Are you going to up-hold out law or are you going to support the Illegal’s? 298 million to 11 million. You do the math. Let’s roll.

My dear FRiend, you are one of the most level-headed, honest, (not to mention courageous) posters I know.

As for me, I have a firm policy to not open freepmail from FReepers I'm not familiar with. I let them know I haven't read the mail, why that's my policy, and encourage them to post to me on the board so I can get to know them better.

It's a policy that's served me well.
;^)

Good policy. I'll seriously consider that.

And thank you, dear prairie! Fighting the good fight with the help of my Heavenly Father!

You are correct but frankly no one cares. Also, half a million of us won't bother to go out and rally ourselves which is sad.

On the other hand, if we did I can bet you we'd see more law enforcement than we saw this week at the illegal rallies.

I don't know about you but I'm keeping my guns clean...and buying more.

Slavery? Name a Company that is enslaving workers in this country and provide factual supporting documentation and we may consider your comments - or then again, we may not.

Why Lookit you, wanting proof when someone spews idiocy, I guess some folks dish it out better than they can take it.

I simply stated Buchanan's position on Hitler. That one issue is proof that Buchanan is incapable of rational thought. Virtually everyone agrees Hitler had to be stopped ... except for Buchanan and fringe lunatics.

Oh dear. LOL. Let's see. You originally said: "The president said this morning that he supports demonstrations as a right." That made me immediately think of how he signed on campaign finance reform that is, in my opinion, stomping of the freedom of speech for American citizens. Yet he's supporting freedom of speech for illegal aliens. That's what this is all about, not old threads either of us have or have not been on.

I just repeated what the prez said about demonstrations. I didn't say that I agreed with it. I was against McCain/Feingold and anything McCain/Kennedy dream up.

I think it's about time to stop suppressing speech from the pulpit too. That's ridiculous and prosecution is selective.

Agreed. It just irks me how it seems like our own president is cherry-picking what he wants from the Constitution and what he doesn't. Anyway, time to let this one go, I can hardly remember what all this was about. Take care.
