They're baaack. Illegal alien public relations experts are advising their followers to put aside the Mexican flags and tone down their radicalism, but many reconquistadors and their friends can't help themselves. Hat tip to John A. for the protest photos today from Dallas:
Black Panthers came out to show solidarity with the open borders lobby...
And the Che cultists were out in full force again, too...
There's no photo, but the Dallas Morning News described this:
Although the stars and stripes predominated, some people opted to paint themselves in red, white and green, the colors of the Mexican flag. A girl no older than 6 had her shirt painted: Hell, no, we wont go. Mexicans stick together.
And via Yahoo!:
Similar sentiments at the anti-immigration enforcement rally in St. Paul, Minn.:
The Dallas Morning News also reported that counter-protesters were assaulted and forced to leave under police protection:
Police told counterprotesters that they could protect them only to a point, and offered to escort them out through an underground parking lot. Six people left with police who were carrying shields and wearing helmets and shin pads.
Theyre obviously outnumbered here. If they choose to leave, we can arrange that, said Dallas police Lt. William Humphrey.
Miles Walters, 16, a sophomore at Richardson High School, said he was scared when people started throwing water bottles and hunkered under a building for protection. I wasnt expecting it to be this bad, he said. Because we take pride in our country they hate us and call us racist.
More:
A small group of counterprotesters shouted from a parking lot at Ross Avenue and Harwood Street: USA, USA, Youre gonna go home, youre gonna go home.
Said Elijah McGrew, 48: They are breaking the law and no one should get amnesty. If I break the law, I dont get amnesty.
Also in the group was Ben Blewusi, who said he came to the U.S. legally from Ghana in 2004.
Illegal immigration is a crime in every country. I believe they are a drain on the economy and dont pay taxes, and employers take advantage of them and enslave their labor. And as a result it drives down wages for legal migrants and U.S. citizens, Mr. Blewusi said.
Near City Hall, more than 100 chanting protesters broke off from the main march and headed toward another group of counterprotesters. Police moved in around the counterprotesters, some of whom had hurled plastic water bottles at the large procession.
If you are holding a counter-protest, send your photos and I'll post them.
Tony J. attended a pro-immigration enforcement rally along with a few hundred in Denver on Friday:
I'll be covering the illegal alien demonstration tomorrow in Washington, D.C. Power Line is soliciting video from citizen journalists across the country.
Meanwhile, keep an eye on what government school officials are doing in your neighborhood.
In Tuscon:
The superintendent of the Tucson Unified School District is under fire for sending school buses to pick up student following an immigration reform protest.
But Superintendent Roger Pfeuffer defended his decision, saying police asked for the buses because a crowd of students in front of the Federal Building in Tucson was growing, water supplies were low and the temperatures were rising.
Rep. Jonathan Paton, R-Tucson, criticized Pfeuffer in a letter, asking for an explanation of the busing issue.
Paton also wanted to know about a student assembly at Tucson High Magnet School in which Dolores Huerta, co-founder of the United Farm Workers, said, "Republicans hate Latinos."
Paton said he wanted to find out if the assembly was mandatory, and he criticized district officials for allowing "political propaganda."
Pfeuffer said the assembly was not connected with recent walkouts by students protesting for immigration reform and said Huerta's appearance was part of a series of events commemorating Cesar Chavez Day held each year.
Yesterday, I noted my home county's decision to give school credit to students who attend the April 10 illegal alien event in D.C. Here's contact info for the Montgomery County Board of Education:

Also watch your city officials. Some people are acting as if sanctuary extremists like the politicians in San Francisco are something new:
Mayor Gavin Newsom said Thursday that The City will not comply with any federal legislation that criminalizes efforts to help illegal immigrants.
The mayor also denounced a bipartisan congressional proposal that would beef up border security and allow as many as 12 million illegal immigrants to gain legal status.
Newsom, who has not been afraid to wade into controversial national issues such as gay marriage, appeared with a group of elected officials on the steps of City Hall to support immigrants, documented as well as undocumented.Newsom also signed a resolution sponsored by Supervisor Gerardo Sandoval, and passed unanimously by the Board of Supervisors, urging San Francisco law enforcement not to comply with criminal provisions of any new immigration bill.
Nothing new about it at all:

On a brighter note I finally have something to agree with my Bush-hating friends on.
One part of the books "Life and Letters of Walter Page", he was American Ambassador to the UK before and during WWI struck me as weird.
When Germany and GB started fighting, he was given the keys to the German Embassy.
This was to help citizens of both Countries that were trapped in the wrong country when war broke out.
Love it.
Bingo......they don't call'em RINO'S for nothing. No Dem. could've pulled off the crap the Busheviks have.
Complacency and the status quo. That's as near as I can figure it.
I think there may be enough people who are waking up and saying 'h3ll no' that we may be able to instill some political will and resolve behind those few politicians who do get it.
And those few who do get it need to hear from us and get our support.
Agreed......a whole lot of people need to transfer their passion for golf or their favorite sports team or fine food or whatever into saving this country and stopping this invasion.
I think the waving of Mexican flags and desecration of the American flag woke up a lot of people along with infuriating us.
That's a great idea! Let's stop buying fruits and vegetables from the large corporate farms (who are more likely to use illegal occupiers) and start supporting our local family farms. Here's a list of Farmer's Markets.
I personally hope the Reconquistas keep flying the Mexican flag atop the American flag and fly the American flag upside down as well. It is finally starting to galvanize many Americans to action so keep it up you tin ear pin head invading south of the border marauders.
I'm game.

The first element?
Islam, a Religion of Peace®? ( links, blogs, quips, quotes, aggravating pictures ) is located here- click the Pic, and scroll backwards:
The other, somewhat interlocking element is this one:
"Thunder on the Border," click the picture:
Note, and note well--that the infamous"Mexican Flag Superior, American in Distress" is in the upper left corner...
Take a look, and follow all the links at #1158-1155.
What is happening under the radar is that the alien lobby, certain elements of radical Islam, and some on the Left share common goals, tactics, and exploitations of our system and society.
Not a conspiracy, but rather a "coming together on common points."
This is not about workers rights or fair immigration policies. It has to do with international communist/socialist orgs looking to gain the political upperhand in the U.S..
Posted by JeffHead Jeff links to Mexica.org's 'after protest' pic fest. You can see there what the marchers thought they were marching for.
A poster for Fridays march. March 31. This poster lists the Latino orgs that are promoting the protests. They are all communist/socialist front orgs.
Here is my analysis of what is going on behind the scenes.
Here is some evidence that 'amnesty' increases illegal entries. These people knew before the demonstrations that the time was ripe.
Smith Act of 1940 This is the U.S. statute that ought to apply to the organized gathering of tens of thousands of foreign nationals calling for the overthrow of our country.
H.R. 4437 At this link you will find a good exegesis of the only bill that doesn't offer some type of amnesty/pathway to citizenship/excuses for illegal entry. It is harsh on employers but has reasonable protections for employers who verify documents that are later shown to be false. It explains that the databases necessary are already in place. It provides for border security.
Understand that the provision that the protesters say is 'racist,' that makes illegals felons, was inserted by the Dems a short time ago. That clarifies why Hillary happened to discover the immigration issue a week before the marches. Why she demonized Republicans as "making Jesus a criminal."
Keep in mind just who organized these protests. Who provided the tens of thousands of T-shirts, the thousands of professionally made signs, the hours and hours of promotion on Spanish language radio and TV stations. It has been noticed that Islamic orgs names and logos appear on some of these signs as well. Remember that NEA teachers and administrators are the ones who have assisted the march organizers by providing bussing for their students, hoisting Mexican flags at school and overlooking the truancy.
Don't forget that the last two Presidential elections were nearly 50/50. Think about how our Congress is looking for a way to appease these foreign nationals through legislation. No election necessary. The outcome of legalizing 11 million illegals and encouraging more to come will be a solid lock for the left forevermore in national elections.
Mexico is Rich- Mexican wealthy play American taxpayers for suckers
Good thread for any that missed it. It should really make you mad.
Every dollar spent in U.S. taxes for social services for illegal aliens frees up additional cash to be sent south as part of the annual remittances which provided $20 billion in 2005. According to the CNN news show Lou Dobbs Tonight (3/21/05), "Remittances, as they're called, are expected to become Mexico's primary source of income this year, surpassing the amount of money that Mexico makes on oil exports for the first time ever."

The bill that was just defeated in the Senate was an amnesty, plain and simple. But take a look at what these treasonous scumbags tried to hide in it. They will be back and we can expect more of this if we do not act decisively.
The second nasty surprise? Just before the committee approved the bill on the evening of March 27, Sen. Richard Durbin (D-Ill.) offered the "DREAM Act" as an amendment. It passed on a voice vote. The DREAM Act is a nightmare. It repeals a 1996 law that prohibits state universities from offering in-state tuition rates to illegal aliens. The principle, of course, is that no illegal alien should be entitled to receive a taxpayer-subsidized benefit that out-of-state U.S. citizens can't get. But the committee's bill allows illegals to be treated better than those U.S. citizens on tuition.
We will NOT allow foreign citizens to write our imigration laws.

Thanks for posting this, as always!
You're observations are very good - indeed, we are seeing a 'confluence of events'.
The question becomes, do we deal with each separately as they present themselves, or do we find a way to address the whole 'sour note', which has coalesced from these disparate yet similar influences, that has seized the US a whole unto itself.
This requires a completely different approach than anything heretofore attempted, but my thoughts on this will inevitably be mis-understood on any public forum. Suffice it to say there is a way of addressing the pathology this time in the world, a constructive way of restoring sanity, so to speak.
Thanks for the kind words. I think America is waking up- time will tell if that is sufficient.
Sounds to me like some folks've forgotten their Oath of Office.
