HERE WE GO AGAIN

***scroll for updates***

They're baaack. Illegal alien public relations experts are advising their followers to put aside the Mexican flags and tone down their radicalism, but many reconquistadors and their friends can't help themselves. Hat tip to John A. for the protest photos today from Dallas:

Black Panthers came out to show solidarity with the open borders lobby...

And the Che cultists were out in full force again, too...

There's no photo, but the Dallas Morning News described this:

Although the stars and stripes predominated, some people opted to paint themselves in red, white and green, the colors of the Mexican flag. A girl no older than 6 had her shirt painted: “Hell, no, we won’t go. Mexicans stick together.”

The Dallas Morning News
also reported that counter-protesters were assaulted and forced to leave under police protection:

Police told counterprotesters that they could protect them only to a point, and offered to escort them out through an underground parking lot. Six people left with police who were carrying shields and wearing helmets and shin pads.

“They’re obviously outnumbered here. If they choose to leave, we can arrange that,” said Dallas police Lt. William Humphrey.

Miles Walters, 16, a sophomore at Richardson High School, said he was scared when people started throwing water bottles and hunkered under a building for protection. “I wasn’t expecting it to be this bad,” he said. “Because we take pride in our country they hate us and call us racist.”

More:

A small group of counterprotesters shouted from a parking lot at Ross Avenue and Harwood Street: “USA, USA, You’re gonna go home, you’re gonna go home.”

Said Elijah McGrew, 48: “They are breaking the law and no one should get amnesty. If I break the law, I don’t get amnesty.”

Also in the group was Ben Blewusi, who said he came to the U.S. legally from Ghana in 2004.

“Illegal immigration is a crime in every country. I believe they are a drain on the economy and don’t pay taxes, and employers take advantage of them and enslave their labor. And as a result it drives down wages for legal migrants and U.S. citizens,” Mr. Blewusi said.

Near City Hall, more than 100 chanting protesters broke off from the main march and headed toward another group of counterprotesters. Police moved in around the counterprotesters, some of whom had hurled plastic water bottles at the large procession.

If you are holding a counter-protest, send your photos and I'll post them.

Tony J. attended a pro-immigration enforcement rally along with a few hundred in Denver on Friday:

I'll be covering the illegal alien demonstration tomorrow in Washington, D.C. Power Line is soliciting video from citizen journalists across the country.

Meanwhile, keep an eye on what government school officials are doing in your neighborhood.

In Tuscon:

The superintendent of the Tucson Unified School District is under fire for sending school buses to pick up student following an immigration reform protest.

But Superintendent Roger Pfeuffer defended his decision, saying police asked for the buses because a crowd of students in front of the Federal Building in Tucson was growing, water supplies were low and the temperatures were rising.

Rep. Jonathan Paton, R-Tucson, criticized Pfeuffer in a letter, asking for an explanation of the busing issue.

Paton also wanted to know about a student assembly at Tucson High Magnet School in which Dolores Huerta, co-founder of the United Farm Workers, said, "Republicans hate Latinos."

Paton said he wanted to find out if the assembly was mandatory, and he criticized district officials for allowing "political propaganda."

Pfeuffer said the assembly was not connected with recent walkouts by students protesting for immigration reform and said Huerta's appearance was part of a series of events commemorating Cesar Chavez Day held each year.

Yesterday, I noted my home county's decision to give school credit to students who attend the April 10 illegal alien event in D.C. Here's contact info for the Montgomery County Board of Education:

Also watch your city officials. Some people are acting as if sanctuary extremists like the politicians in San Francisco are something new:

Mayor Gavin Newsom said Thursday that The City will not comply with any federal legislation that criminalizes efforts to help illegal immigrants.

The mayor also denounced a bipartisan congressional proposal that would beef up border security and allow as many as 12 million illegal immigrants to gain legal status.

Newsom, who has not been afraid to wade into controversial national issues such as gay marriage, appeared with a group of elected officials on the steps of City Hall to support immigrants, “documented as well as undocumented.”Newsom also signed a resolution sponsored by Supervisor Gerardo Sandoval, and passed unanimously by the Board of Supervisors, urging San Francisco law enforcement not to comply with criminal provisions of any new immigration bill.

Nothing new about it at all:

When operation wetback was implimented an estimated half left on their own rather than face deportation. If we target crimminal employers and purge illegals from welfare rolls many will leave. Then we build a wall and increase border patrols.

You can join JeffAtlanta and come up with the plan. His is soooooooooooo workable. Heck, I might even get a few to deport themselves by telling them all that.

What, pray tell, is "soooooooooo unworkable" about it?

The denial of social services to illegals is already in the works here in "liberal" Georgia.

The laws are already in place to crack down on employers of illegals. There is only one man standing in the way of their enforcement - George Bush.

The self-serving Republicans in the Senate are a huge problem as well. The answer is to pretty much reboot the senate.

Repealing the 17th Amendment and setting term limits for all Congressional offices would be a good start!

Exactly. The "we can't do it" mantra of the pro-illegal apologists is code for "I don't want it done." If we just strengthen sanctions on employers and actually enforce those sanctions, the majority will leave because they have no reason to stay.

"Self-deportion. Right, I will hold my breath till that happens. What a plan. They came here illegally. Why would they leave? What a plan."

I believe that if we had a program that harshly hits the employers who hire illegals we could accomplish the self removal in 50 months without too much ruckus. Pass a Bill that required the employers, one state at a time, to verify the SSI numbers of their employees. We must verify that these employees are paying taxes. Any problem and the employee has 30 days to bring in alternate proof that they were not attempting fraud.

Start in the Northeast. state#1 Maine, state#2 New Hampshire, state#3 Vermont and state#4 Mass., should be the first four states in the numerical order. Then state#5 RI., state#6 NY., state#7 CT., and state#8 NJ., in the numerical order.

Do you understand what I am proposing and what the effect would be? The illegal employees would rapidly see what is coming. Knowing that they couldn't produce verifiable tax identification they would start selling their belongings and shipping the items that they wished to retain back to their home countries.

The illegals from South America and Mexico would start moving West as their jobs disappeared on their own. As new jobs became impossible to attain they would see that Canada, Russia, Mexico or wherever their foreign homeland is should become their destination for employment.

Employers who couldn't find American workers could appeal to the proper Agency for a 24 month Guest Worker permit for specific named employees. This identification would be given to the employee at our border entry station as they apply for an Entry Card and permit this employee to work for just the one employer. Perhaps require the employer to send in verification that the employee is still needed and that he is will be working on site.

Once we have this system in place, then we could have the local police and ICE agents collect the rest of the illegals and deport them city by city across the United States. As each state comes up for it's 'clean up' I would favor a $10,000 fine for hiring a person in that state who isn't a US citizen or someone who doesn't have a Guest Worker identification card. That state should expel all students who aren't citizens, here on student visas or the children of authorized workers also.

We cannot afford to pay the costs of these people if they are not going to learn to speak English and assimilate into our communities. Their costs are much higher than their contributions.

Repealing the 17th Amendment and setting term limits for all Congressional offices would be a good start!

Term limits are a real good start. Repeal of the popular election of senators is more complex as it might insulate them from the people even further by providing an extra layer.

The defeat of all pro-illegal GOP or Democratic senators in red states would be a great start.

Employers:
What Part of Illegal in Illegal Alien do YOU NOT UNDERSTAND?

Federal Immigration and Nationality Act
Section 8 USC 1324(a)(1)(A)(iv)(b)(iii)
"Any person who . . . encourages or induces an alien to . . . reside . . . knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that such . . . residence is . . . in violation of law, shall be punished as provided . . . for each alien in respect to whom such a violation occurs . . . fined under title 18 . . . imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both."
IT'S AGAINST THE LAW!!!

I'm in East Texas. What I see around me here proves that not all is lost. We are taking the Country back. Slowly. Day by day. And it's starting right here in your small towns and communities. We've got a hard fight and a very long way to go but rest assured it is happening.

The fact is, lots of businesses do not have the interest of the country in their mind. What they are concerned with is increasing profit.

They are not going to pass the savings on to you or me because the prices for new construction home remains astronomically high. Cheap labor from illegals is simply a chance for business to increase the profit margin Period

This is why democracy must step in and act in the interest of the nation by stopping illegal immigrants and the companies who don't give a damn about the impact they are making on our country.

Good morning.
"Your like the guy in Atlanta, all key board and no plan for accomplishing the mission."

As opposed to you, wailing about how we are doomed?

What's your plan, cowboy, apart from ripping people on that keyboard you mentioned?

That's the $ 64,000 question.......he and his cadre seem totally oblivious to public sentiment about Ill. Imm and it's potential to tear this country apart. For anyone who undersatands the Hegelian dialectic (problem - reaction - solution) this whole mess seems destined to grease the skids for new national ID cards for everyone as well as an increased NORTH AMERICAN bureacracy......one that will have powers similar to the EU to oversee all this new "integration" of the north & south american economies.
