McKinney is in town to promote "American Blackout," a movie she stars in that accuses Longboat Key Republican Katherine Harris of helping Republicans steal the 2000 presidential election for President George W. Bush. What a complete waste of time these people are.

Someone needs to charge and then convict this woman of a felony so she can no longer serve in office. Felony obstruction of a law enforcement officer (or whatever yankee law they use in DC) is as good for me as any other.

"I am sorry that this misunderstanding happened at all, and I regret its escalation," McKinney said.Does this mean that she has decided to start wearing her pin afterall? Or is this "apology" [sic] simply more empty words from the left?

I don't know if they will try to make the 2000 election into one of the articles of impeachment (if they win back control of the House in November), but some of them are claiming that Bush also "stole" the 2004 election...supposedly only various Republican tricks in Ohio caused that state to go for Bush instead of Kerry. I saw a book in the bookstore a few weeks ago which made that claim.
Today on C-SPAN there was some guy ranting about how our whole American experiment in government was about to go down the tubes unless the Democrats find a way to stop the Republicans from stealing elections. His book is called Fooled Again (I don't know if it is the same one I saw in the bookstore).
For 175 years the Democrats make a practice of stealing elections and no one bats an eye...twice they claim that the Republicans have stolen the election and our system is about to collapse.

Days ago, Cynthia McKinney was a heroine to local Democrats because she was standing up for disenfranchised voters everywhere....of which there aren't any, anywhere.

When everyone is laughing at you, it's hard to be taken seriously. The funniest thing I saw on DU relative to the McKinney affair was a moonbat's comment that he just couldn't believe a Capitol Hill policeman wouldn't have recognized a member of Congress of her stature. BOOWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

"Yankee law"?!
I'll have you know DC is in the south. We can't help it if the rest of the country sends its liberals here - including some from the deeper south! What's up with that - is the south conservative our what?
