Pages 99 to129 of document CMPC-2003-00013038 dated in March 1997, many years after Saddam was supposed to fully comply with the UN resolutions to disarm his WMD and reveal everything to the UN inspectors, include many correspondences from the Iraqi intelligence service asking their employees not to store any information related to WMD and remove any information they have regarding WMD from their computers and records. This is yet another document that shows how Saddam Regime was doing all their efforts to hide their WMD programs or any information relate to it from the UN inspectors, a clear sign that this regime never really complied and they always wanted to keep their WMD programs and production.

You definitely are of the right attitude. Thanks.
Is that what is meant by "evacuating" the magnetic discs?
AMEN!

"Could mean they had a repository so that they could keep records....but it would be hidden from the UN inspectors....wonder if there is a document that would tell us where that was....or directions in setting up a such a repository for each research center....bet that each location had such a place....."
These repositories could have been official secret places or hidey holes in the back yards of those involved.
Yes, it sounds more like the person in charge of each research station was ordered to make sure that the disks (numbered!) would be stored in a repository organized by the official in charge.
That would be a good thing for us, because there would probably be a number of documents sent back to the MoD to acknowledge and describe where the disks had been stored. Better chance to find one of many documents....
?That is the way I would read it.
My second favorite character after Homer Simpson :)
Yes.
Thanks for the links onyx.
I'm thinking we call them at their home offices not the capital. That way we can get the email of the person we are talking to so they can get it directly, not the Capital office where it will get lost. I've done that before and some staffers are willing to give out their personal office email addy.
Thank you for all your hard work. It's greatly appreciated.
Indy went to alot of trouble and work. I have used the list several times.
She listed the DC telephone numbers, plus the FAX numbers.
These guys didn't just communicate by voice....
That's why we have thousands of boxes of documents.....
Thanks.
You're right.
This is sort of reverse engineering their management structure on their research programs.
We should all get on our local state boards and ping this thread to and ask everyone to write their local senators and congressmen.
In fact the Arabic document Says " Haseb Al Maktabiah AL Mansooba Ladayna" which translates exactly "The Computer Library Installed For Us " They are talking about main frame computers and hence the "Ikl'aa Al Aqras Al Magnatisya" means "Evacuate the Magnetic discs". These are large storage discs belonging to the main frame and these discs storage must be evacuated outside the location according to the document.
Good idea!
You're most welcome for the ping!
GOOD to see you, my FRiend.
Thank you very much :) I do not think that I deserve all these awards.
