Pages 99 to129 of document CMPC-2003-00013038 dated in March 1997, many years after Saddam was supposed to fully comply with the UN resolutions to disarm his WMD and reveal everything to the UN inspectors, include many correspondences from the Iraqi intelligence service asking their employees not to store any information related to WMD and remove any information they have regarding WMD from their computers and records. This is yet another document that shows how Saddam Regime was doing all their efforts to hide their WMD programs or any information relate to it from the UN inspectors, a clear sign that this regime never really complied and they always wanted to keep their WMD programs and production.

Radwaniya is a neighborhood located in the district of Al Rasheed.
And Saddam had a palace there, which likely had underground structures....wonder if any have been found.there..????
Again thanks for another translation...you're the best ;o)
I hope you're wrting a book! This all needs to be documented and you may as well make a buck in the process. Thanks for your service to our country.
This dovetails with ISGZ-2004-028947 http://rayrobison.typepad.com/ray_robison/2006/03/saddam_document.html
which sammi did a full translation of that is a scrub for WMD information.
Thanks for the link....
My guess is that it might be something like this little number if it was a mainframe and a removable disk pack. Back in The Day I used to lock these in a big old safe on a daily basis for the same reason Saddam's boys did.
bump
bttt!
well, SNL will have a blast with this:
I have NO information about any Prohibited Weapons. Nope! Not here -- no Prohibited Weapons information here! Absolutely none!
Indeed--and that's putting it politely. Some of us have taken a good deal of heat even from Freepers when we insisted that there were, in fact, WMD in Iraq. Moreover, even beyond these wonderful translations, a good deal of WMD were, in fact, FOUND, but the press coverage for these was somewhere between lacking and nonexistant.
"I am not a computer expert, but what does these magnetic discs mean. Are those the same type big discs that we used to see many years ago in the IT departments here in the US. Please keep in mind that the Iraqi in 1997 had an old computer system and may have not have more modern systems until late 2001, 2002."
JV, these could be anything from the old Winchester discpacs you're probably thinking about to floppies or zip disks, or any other sort of removeable media. Or even all the above, depending on which directorates got the most recent upgrades. This is good work you're doing! Thank you, and keep it up!
Yep, these are the discs.
Agreed 100%. Both documents are from March 1997.
Thank you! May God bless you for your efforts.
God Bless you too and God Bless our troops.
Ping to myself.
I can't wait to see all the documents ordering the destruction of the WMD material! - Serious sarcasm.
Thank you so much, jveritas. I've said before and I'll say again that these translations should be published in book form.
LOL...
