AB, FWIW the METAR at the time of impact was 8KM and a ceiling of about 500 meters. Hardly the fogged in conditions that was claimed. But I agree, we will never be able to prove otherwse..

Arlen is now calling for the President to fully explain what he authorized vis-a-vis "leaking".

According to Arlen: "We ought not to have leaking in government". LOL!

Arlen can start by addressing Senator Leahy about it, before he criticizes the President.

Mr Bush is "determined to deny Iran the opportunity....""

Another brilliant move by the president to plant uncertainty in the halls of Iran's government.

Why do we need a new immigration law when the ones already passed aren't enforced?

I am so fed up with Congress.

Great catch anita.

Once again if sounder heads will read the statement instead of reacting to it!!it reads;

Hersh claims that one of the plans presented to the White House by the Pentagon, entails the use of bunker buster tactical nuclear weapons...against underground sites..

That's a long, long way from indiscriminately firing nukes at a wacked out arab state that wants to go nuclear. This(Hersh and company) is all just more get GWB at it's finest hour.

Isn't it today the 3rd anniversary of Saddam statue falling? Why no one is willing to show that? I think there was even a re-enlistment ceremony couple of days back.

Forty Army Reservists Re-enlist on Capitol Steps

The re-enlisting soldiers come from all walks of life. The group includes a teacher, a youth pastor, a computer technician, a police officer, a retail representative and a student. Many of are veterans of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and some are Bronze Star and Purple Heart recipients. The ceremony highlighted the positive re-enlistment trend among Army Reservists. In fiscal 2005, re-enlistments by Army Reserve soldiers reached 101.5 percent of the goal, according to an Army Reserve news release.

Sgt. 1st Class Juanita Wilson, one of those who re-enlisted yesterday, lost her left hand in Iraq on Aug. 21, 2004, when a roadside bomb detonated under her vehicle...... Wilson said she was very proud that Army officials determined she was capable to continue to serve after her injury. [To Fox's credit, David Asman interviewed and thanked her.]

Well, it's official. Military strategist and war plans expect Julian Phillips of Fox & Friends Weekend said [military] bombing [campaigns] does no good.

So, someone needs to let SecDef Rumsfeld and the Joint Chiefs of Staff know.

Thank you. Great information. Nice to get the truth. As much as I agreed with nailing Clinton for the things he did, the conspiracy theories were as bad then as they are against President Bush today.

what is it about Joe Wilson that makes me think of a college professor that fondles his students in exchange for better grades.

Why Hersh is getting all this attention today is a question we need to answer.

Because he is claiming Bush is going to nuke Iran.

Did you notice how Kirin immediately went to a commercial, ignoring him?

Julian is the WORST, as I said.

Did you see the RNC's response to Kerry's latest "plan"?
"John Kerry deserves credit for continuing to take himself so seriously, despite the fact that no one else does," said the spokeswoman, Tracey Schmitt.

Yep...Hil's "unbridled ambition" recognizes no lengths, breadths, or depths to which she will not go. ANYthing to get her bottom on that desk chair in the Oval Office.

Kerry: "In my [2004] campaign, I take responsibility [for the mistakes]."

[IIRC, he blamed the Secret Service, the staff, the writers, the press, the lighting, .... everything and every one except himself.]
