LOL! Diabolically clever solution to the problem.

Could we also have a small crew to work on this side until the wall is finished, so we don't have to get our hands dirty cleaning up construction debris and landscaping along the base of the wall? You know, just that peon stuff us Americans are allegedly a mite too uppity to do ourselves.

We can send them home later.

Lol, very good.

Here's a suggestion to cure two problems with one solution:
Lower the national debt by deporting all illegals.
How you ask will that lower the national debt?? The illegals in this Country are costing us BILLIONS!!

of course they are. Illegal aliens are parasites who pledge allegiance to a foreign nation.

The shame is that American students are losing their aptitude for science.

Well, who can blame them? At least in terms of what we consider basic research.
The employment picture in the sciences has been whipsawed by
in-sourcing of scientists from the former USSR and Red China, while also
outsourcing is apace.

US students with real brains see the instability and the apparent ability
to make a ton of loot and decide to work in medicine, the law or
any of a number of technical endeavours (but not in basic research).

One NSF member I know is pleased as punch that one of his sons
has not followed him into basic research...instead he's raking in
a real living after 10 years in the wine bidness.

If you DO know, please keep it to yourself, so they don't find out. Otherwise, it's 'aiding and abetting' ...grin

Is this work Americans don't want to do? No problem, the Mexican Government will issue marticula's to millions at five bucks a-day. The fence should be erected in a month. (sarcasm)

Likely AMERICANS WOULD like to do the work. (An American company is actually one of the contractors working with ISRAEL on THEIR 'security fence'.)

...but it's pretty obvious, after what's happened in the past couple weeks, that CONGRESS doesn't want any part of the job.

Israel's Security Buffer Zone

The buffer zone combines a "sterile zone" created between two lines of concertina barbed wire fences and a high taut wire fence, which acts as a "trip wire" for alerting on possible penetration, A deep mobility obstacle, and patrol roads on both sides complete the physical dimension of the buffer zone. Several companies are providing the fences, including Magal, Elbit's Detektion division both provide the touch sensitive fence and Moserot, which provides the concertina. Other companies are currently bidding for the supply of complementing systems, which should improve the effectiveness of the buffer zone, while deploying much smaller forces, dramatically reduinge the life cycle cost of the project which have already absorbed close to US$ 250 million per 120 km.

Tenders

According to the Israeli law tenders for infrastructure works were publicly published with a high rate of response from approved contractors.
The route was divided into sub sections allocating each winning contractor to one or more lots according to his proven performance. In case of failure to comply with the requirements listing strict time table and number of engineering equipment on spot, the contractor was replaced by other “stand by” contractors as part of the tender provisions. Today,
22 infrastructure contractors take part in the infrastructure stage
(digging, filling, paving asphalt patrol road etc).

Intrusion detection fence

Three Israeli companies are approved by the IDF to provide intrusion detection fence, having passed its technical requirements through an extensive two year on site experiment. Of these three companies, Magal Security Systems won the contract for the central section (Salem towards Elkana) and Elbit Systems together with the American company, Detektion, won the contract for the northern and southern sections of Jerusalem.

Observation Systems

Procurement of the various observation systems, required by the IDF with varying performance requirements (range, all weather, day/night) was handled according to the MOD’s procurement regulations.
These include Ortek's, Elbit Systems Ltd. subsidiary, electro optical cameras, IAI's Tamam Division, Plug- in Optronic Payload-POP, Controp's electro optical scanning radar (Spider), and others. Advanced technological systems including Video Motion Detection systems are under consideration and the procurement of tactical aerostats is in progress.

On the Know-Nothing Party (anti-immigrant party)

Letter to Joshua F. Speed

August 24, 1855

"I am not a Know-Nothing. That is certain. How could I be? How can any one who abhors the oppression of negroes, be in favor of degrading classes of white people? Our progress in degeneracy appears to me to be pretty rapid. As a nation, we begin by declaring that "all men are created equal." We now practically read it "all men are created equal, except negroes." When the Know-Nothings get control, it will read "all men are created equal, except negroes, and foreigners, and catholics." When it comes to this I should prefer emigrating to some country where they make no pretence of loving liberty-to Russia, for instance, where despotism can be taken pure, and without the base alloy of hypocracy."
Abraham Lincoln
