If your are a true capitalist, you should get cracking on all that new technology that will replace the serfs that you say you need.

I have never forgiven Simpson, he wanted his amnesty bill as a sop to the sugar beet farmers in Wyoming so they could have their cheap labor.

I've been wondering... if the illegals are so critical to our economy, and so stunningly wonderful, what was the big deal when it was learned that a Bush appointee (Linda Chavez, I think) had hired an illegal nanny or housekeeper in the past? She had to refuse Pres. Bush's appointment. NOW it's OK?

Unless something dramatic happens, our country will move closer to a civil war so the people can take back what is theirs. The COUNTRY.

There will not be a civil war in this country again. Socialism has made sheep out of most of the citizens here. After that it will be REALLY easy to suppress citizens and insurgents alike by some administration. Just incorporate a few immigrant divisions of infantry and have THEM do house to house sweeps.

What is going to happen is that people are going to leave and find another country to put money and hope into. I have a hunch a lot of us are going to wind up in Eastern Europe.

The GOP is split between the elites and big business and the conservative core. It cannot win elections with this split now or even less in the future due to demographics.

Careful. You'll get some 'all is well' type here to claim your from the DU.

The GOP is scared to death to antagonize the Hispanic vote, which votes majority Dem but not in lock step like the black vote. If the truth be told, we have already alienated many Hispanics because the MSM and Dems have portrayed the GOP has being in hospitable to immigrants.

Not just the Dems, but the Rinos...and the administration and Bush family also. It is constantly attacking the Base as racist. Look at the latest from Jeb Bush complaining that his wife...a legal immigrant...finds the whole debate "hurtful."

That is devastating in a country, which has currently 33.1 million foreign born residents, equal to 11.5 percent of the U.S. population.

Principle has to carry the day...not political venality.

And we must not let fear scare us off from doing what is right. God will help those who love this country defend here. There is a way. A lot of the legal immigrants are horrified and insulted that the illegal aliens may be able to horn in on the benefits citizenship...without even trying to be American.

As for the MSM indoctrinating the illegals...they always did. Always will. Hence, the greatest need is to keep them from getting into the voting booths. And getting a one-way ticket home. Send their indoctrinateds right out of the country...with no possibility of sneaking back in...or voting.

Demolishing the whole MSM campaign root-and-branch.

I recommend a movie called the "Godfather Part II". There is a scene where Al Pacino tells a group of mafia business men what he saw on the streets in Havana that indicate the Communist will win the war and the casinos being offered to them for sale are not safe. He saw a revolutionary blow up two policemen at a checkpoint. Pacino pointed out that the attacker was not paid like the police, yet had the dedication to die. Same logic and wisdom can be applied. The images from the TV and from many of my contacts in the cities where the demonstrations (100,000 to 500,000) were held had the following- brown power slogans, flags of Mexico and Latin America, leftist revolutionary slogans and portraits, sentiment that they will take back their land from the Americans, anger at the gringos, no repudiation by major American latino politicians, celebrities, and etc. Local latino officials who are suppose to represent all Americans taking sides, providing government resources (which is illegal) to help demonstrations, shouting down of non Latinos students in schools, shouting down workers in places of work and local government offices of latino dominated communities if they do not agree with immigration amnest. Sir, how many red flags do you need to have any reservations on your viewpoint. People are judged by how they act as individuals (usually positive experience) and how they act when they come together as a group (could be bad or good0. Both must be evaluated before a balanced viewpoint is formed. As individuals I will agree with your perceptions, but as a political group, I think you need to rethink your position, because they are so many red flags popping up in front of your face.

To me, the difference between legal and illegal is arbitrary.

Why do we even have laws, then? If you consider that the invaders from foreign nations are not here illegally, then we have no sovereignty as a Nation. It is not arbitrary.

The Founding Fathers established the law; they called it The Constitution of the United States of America. Thusly, they established a nation and defined the sovereignty of that nation. Those who come into this Nation, except by the means established by law, are here illegally.

It makes one wonder about the illegal alien fuss. Are great numbers of our unemployed really victims of the illegal alien invasion or are those illegal tourists actually doing work our own people won't do? One thing is certain in this hungry world; no regulation or law should be allowed if it results in crops rotting in the fields for lack of harvesters.

Yet, if I don't support John McCain, I'm labeled anti-GOP by an increasingly growing number of folks.

Most people I know who still like McCain are either (a) Liberals, (b) moderates, or (c) don't pay attention to politics and just go with "he's a war hero".

I have found that I say I want to study candidates and vote for the best one, rather than blindly voting straight party line, I am likely to be labeled as a disruptor.

What every US citizen needs to do is sign up for this amnesty when they finally shove it down out throats. Imagine 280 million people clogging up the system. Better yet, let's all claim to be seeking 'political amnesty' from a tryanical government.

You may be on to something...

On Cinco de Mayo, May 5, Mexican "independence" day, *EVERYBODY* BURN YOUR DRIVER'S LICENSE! The illegals don't need them so why should you? Become undocumented drivers just like them. Then remove your plates and toss them in the nearest stream. Call it the Driver's License Tea Party! It would be a supremely unifying act of defiance. Maybe then our "leaders" will understand that, like the Boston Tea Party of 1773, they may only be a few years away from revolution!

I think McCain hanged himself with this latest bit of skullduggery - and he's taking our party with him.

You and I agree on damn near everything except, I think the Republican Party stopped listneing, and still expect everyone to follow blindly follow.

We who question have been called just about everything vile a person can be called in the last couple of days.

The Rinos and Die Hards sure know how to hold the base of the Republican Party together. /Sarc.

The last laugh will be ours. These same people will be kissing our bottoms trying to get our votes shortly.

I'm conservative and nothing they say matters, as they have proved the will sell out for a vote. That makes them no better than Democrats in my books.

Very interesting thought. It actually sounds more plausable than our country waking up and rising up.
