WASHINGTON Conservative U-S Senate candidate John Spencer attacked New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg today over gun control, saying Bloomberg is touting "liberal solutions that simply do not work."
Spencer was in Washinton, D-C, visiting G-O-P lawmakers and staff as part of his effort to raise millions of campaign dollars in the race against Hillary Clinton.
Spencer's host was Florida Congressman Tom Feeney, who tangled with New York's Republican mayor just last week at a congressional hearing over a gun trace bill. Feeney had accused the mayor of trying to undermine the constitutional right to bear arms and spur more lawsuits against gun makers and dealers.
Bloomberg spokesman Stu Loeser responded that the bill has nothing to do with the right to bear arms and everything to with the dangers posed by illegal guns.
The gun trace bill would bar the federal government from making public the results of traces of guns used in crimes -- statistics used by New York and other cities to file lawsuits against gunmakers. Senator Clinton supports a bill to make such gun trace data public.

Spencer might want to watch his "six".
Something to keep in mind re his opponent, Hillary Rodham...
Whoever runs against her will have his or her background searched thoroughly by pros, and
The "News" media will throw wailing conniptions over what "scandals" they find (even if the "scandals" are just made up.)
I'll wager that the front page of the NYT will eagerly prove my suspicion several times as the election approaches.

ITS ABOUT DAMN TIME somebody in NY stood up for the 2nd Amendment! With folks like Bloomingidiot of Bermuda, the NY Post editorial board, Giuliani, Pataki, and the now departed from politics Denny Dillon as "allies", who needs enemies!
The BIG ISSUE that should be pushed by pro-gunners that may even get approved would be "pre-emption" ie the gun laws of the state preclude those of municipalities. Therefore, NY City would have to recognize concealed weapons permits issued in other counties.
We are a LONG ways away from repeal of Sullivan and shall-issue concealed carry. Nevertheless, good to see a Republican candidate for statewide office stand up against Bloomingidiot.

This is just a small taste of what is to come. John is not afraid of anybody. He won't get bloomberg's endorsement anyway, but it does lay the grounds for the beast to be questioned about her anti gun positions.
Please, before you write that the ratmedia will not ask her any hard questions, turn your calendar over a few years. This is NOT 2000. The beast will NOT get a free ride from the ratmedia exactly for the reason you are able to read these thoughts. The new media will make certain the ratmedia won't get away with it this time. Also believe it or not there are ratmedia types who hate her and clinochhio. They hated having to make believe they believed his lewinsky lies. They hated that he sucked up all the available campaign money in 1996, money they have convinced themselves would have won the congress back for the rat. They hate the beast for voting FOR the war and now acting like was against it from day one.

Individuals in the MSM are cowered by the beast's asymmetrical attack teams poised to punish any perceived insult to her highness, such as an "off topic" question.
Legions of Clintonistas stand ready to do the beast's bidding.

Clinton Foe Spencer Fires Away At Mayor BloombergThe Newsday version of this AP article appears much longer. Is their any way to link it directly besides the link in this comment for those who aren't obsessive-compulsive about reading all the comments on a thread?
