And there's more!

Here's the deal: For those fans who would like to ask for a photo-- please send an email request to Tony at tonysnow@foxnews.com (please note in the subject line of the email "For Tony")  and provide your home mailing (not email) address. Tony will send you a real, actual, signed photo -- not stuff that people have to download. Please pass it on.

By the way, if you miss anything, the show is streamed again immediately after the three hours. Please feel free to add thread narrative about what is aired on the show as a group effort is helpful to get more of the content posted and is much appreciated by those reading the thread later. If you’d like on or off the Tony Snow Show ping list, please post a request. All requests happily honored.

"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time -- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!

I think it's a highly impractical idea as well.

Now, exagerration is not helpful. Of course people are arrested and deported. The problem is that the numbers of illegals are large, and Once in the country they have a huge area in which to hide, so that even if we deport 5000 per day, we still cannot keep up.

Enforcement currently doesn't deter them because the odds are that they will avoid detection and arrest.

I agree to an extent in that it would also effect anyone coming here seeking asylum. I am thinking the quiet variable right now is the Legal Hispanic community in the US. I suspect a backlash very soon from them. I was at Carlito's last night and heard Carlos talking about the issue.. he sounded pissed at the protests and everyone wanting to come here illegally.. said something like how his family worked hard to come here legally for many years and started from the ground up only to be lumped in the same box as these 'criminals'..

I'll be giving a lot more business to him ;->

I just had a thought. Perhaps the dems don't want it to be a felony because so many states don't let felons vote. Maybe Hillary is trying to give felons the right to vote just in case illegal immigration becomes a felony.

All the live threads have turned into chat rooms.

These threads are chat rooms. That's what I expect them to be.

Harry Reid just said that on the Floor of the Senate (one of the three rings of the Circus). He said it was Bush's fault for "not being engaged" on the immigration issue. And it was VP Cheney's fault for not being in his little office button-holing Senators...

That's pretty much what friends talk about. They get the niceties out of the way and then get down to business.

Or, if you want to have a bit of comedy relief:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1610039/posts

“The newest effort to burnish the party’s credentials on these issues came Wednesday, when the Democratic National Committee (DNC) announced the establishment of a veterans council — designed to foster a closer political relationship between the Democratic Party, military veterans and their families.”

Sorry if I didn't post the link properly, but I was so mad after I first read it that I almost busted my coffee cup. Lousy hypocritical scumbag bunch of.......

LOL!! I have to admit that had not occurred to me. Of course, they are trying to make it legal for felons to vote in certain places.

The immediate answer to me is to take US citizenship off the table. Why does it have to be proffered to those who are here illegally? Many illegals have "demonstrated" that they put Mexico before America. Work on a guest worker program or on loosening legal entry to the US. Identifying those who enter is not difficult with today's technology. We need to develop a network that coordinates a data bank of all info. It will help discover terrorists and identify illegals.

Ultimately, we need to have the SCOTUS review the faulty interpretation that ANYBODY born here is automatically a US citizen. But, that is for another discussion.
