Now, exagerration is not helpful. Of course people are arrested and deported. The problem is that the numbers of illegals are large, and Once in the country they have a huge area in which to hide, so that even if we deport 5000 per day, we still cannot keep up.
Enforcement currently doesn't deter them because the odds are that they will avoid detection and arrest.

I am not exaggerating when I say this federal gov't has not committed to defending the borders. Yes, the border patrol captures some illegals, but until there is a commitment from the top to halt illegal immigration, it will continue unabated.
