SACRAMENTO - The state Senate will consider a bill that would require California schools to teach students about the contributions gay people have made to society -- an effort that supporters say is an attempt to battle discrimination and opponents say is designed to use the classroom to get children to embrace homosexuality.
The bill, which was passed by a Senate committee Tuesday, would require schools to buy textbooks ``accurately'' portraying ``the sexual diversity of our society.'' More controversially, it could require that students hear history lessons on ``the contributions of people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender to the economic, political, and social development of California and the United States of America.''
Though it's a California bill, it could have far-reaching implications, not only by setting a precedent but also because California is the nation's largest textbook buyer and as such often sets the standards for publishers who sell nationwide.

I wonder if the textbooks will be illustrated?
That's funnier than anything else... why not teach moron's history, I am sure there would be lots of interesting things about how morons affected history.?
Soon all kids will learn in school is gay history, black history, womens history, asian history, and latino history. They won't have anytime to learn about the founding of this nation or the most important people in our history.
I think that is their goal.
Don't forget Ernst Rohm, Hitler's brownshirted SA leader.
And Shelia has taken politics from "I Like Ike" to "I'm a dyke."

How come she's alive and Bob Denver is dead?
Although a stupid question, I will give you their dates of birth years: Bob Denver was born in 1935 and Zelda girl was born in 1941. Bob died in 1935 from throat cancer. I guess God need Bob right now and Zelda girl later when he needs her. I wonder what you were questioning.
Ver funny! Thank you for my first gut-busting laugh of the day. I laughed so hard I woke up my wife and she's downstairs! She thought I'd finally cracked. Still laughing as I type this!
The funniest thing is that these "guys" want us to take them seriously, not to mention that they want to teach our kids to be just like them.
Lord O' Lord Almighty, what's happening to my world?
The very same.
Just say no.
History has proven that a civilization that cannot even define what constitutes normal sexuality will not survive for long. Ancient Rome and Greece providing two examples. When you study primitive societies, you find that the main reason they don't advance is because of their inability or refusal to define normal sexuality.
Why stop there? Why not require the schools to teach students about the contributions that alcoholics, addicts, and adulterers have made to society?
Cali's digging that hole to Hell a little deeper every day. See ya, wouldn't wanta be ya!
A few years ago, I heard someone say, "How do you explain Ru Paul to a five year old!"
Good question.
What about Bob?
He died the same year he was born?
I'm a borderline pervert and even I'm sick to death of it. Seriously. As far as I'm concerned the biggest problem with gay people is that they don't know when it's time to stop talking about sex: by and large, they have no concept of conversational boundaries.
By all means have all the butt sex you want, just don't be surprised when the rest of us don't want to worship it in the public square with you.
Sex is not a religion, at it's most acceptably deviant, it's a pastime.

Oops!!!! Sorry that is supposed to 2005.
OK, let's start with Sodom and Gomorrah...
So who, then, is California Bill? the gay Paul Bunyan?
bump
He did a lot in his less-than-a-year of life.
