Sitrep from the Arizona Border

The Minuteman Civil Defense Corp has complete its fifth day of is month long muster for April 2006.

The watches and activities will continue through the last day in April.

The latest information from the border comes courtesy of Americanwolfsbrother, he is current working communications and standing line watch at Three Points, Arizona.

Through the first four days of "Operation Secure Our Borders" there have been over 600 sightings of illegal aliens and 200 caputured by the Border Patrol that are attributed to our sightings. So there has been great success in the first week of our muster!

I had the pleasure of standing the first two night watches. The post I was standing on the first night recorded sighting a group of eight that was later captured by border patrol. The second night that same location had a group of 50+ illegals come through and sit down in front of the post and wait for the Border Patrol. The illegals stated that they were tired and could not go on.

This is just a small view of what has occurred in the first four days.

My newest pet peeve......emails from our friends at the anti-illegal organizations....everyone I have gotten has asked for money to contact my legislator so I can protest the cause.

Hey I give when I can, but when other conservative causes (ie. 2nd amendment rights organizations) send out emails asking for support, they usually include various prepared emails to be sent to legislators, and they will send them for free and then they ask for money. Which is fine, if I feel their cause is worth it I will send the money. I think someone needs to FLOOD both houses and the POTUS with emails (and snail mail) expressing how we feel, and I have yet to find an organization doing this. (and I have no time to do any speerheading of this myself)
