Academic papers posted on a Harvard Web site don't normally attract enthusiastic praise from prominent white supremacists. But John Mearsheimer and Stephen Walt's "The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy" has won David Duke's endorsement as "a modern Declaration of American Independence" and a vindication of the ex-Klansman's earlier work, presumably including his pathbreaking book, "Jewish Supremacism."
Walt and Mearsheimer contend that American national security dictates distancing ourselves from the state of Israel; that U.S. support for Israel has led to such disasters as America's status as the No. 1 target for Islamic terrorists; and that such an otherwise inexplicable departure from good sense can be accounted for only by the power of "The Lobby" (their capitalization), an overwhelmingly Jewish force abetted by some Christian evangelicals and a gentile neocon collaborator or two, who have hijacked American foreign policy and controlled it for decades.
One of Mearsheimer's University of Chicago colleagues has characterized this as "piss-poor, monocausal social science." -----------------break--------

"THE "Protocols of the Elders of Harvard", as Roger Simon elegantly calls the now-infamous "Israel Lobby" screed written by a professor-administrator from Harvard's Kennedy School and another academic who holds an endowed chair in the political science department at the University of Chicago, might finally disabuse people of the conventional nonsense that professors at our "elite" schools are really smart.
"The Israel Lobby" should dissuade rational Harvard and Chicago donors from giving any further money to the Kennedy School or to the Chicago political science department ... It should also help bright high-school students and their parents realise that a lot of "top" universities are living on largely undeserved reputations ... [The article is] the same Big Lie we've heard for centuries: The Jews run the world, and they do it by manipulating others to carry out the Jews' designs. The premise on which "The Israel Lobby" rests is that American foreign policy is the product of a small band of willful and clever people who have tricked the American people and every president into acting in Israel's interests, not our own. This is anti-Semitism in the grand tradition."

It is inherently wrong to exclude people legally living within a nation's territory from the franchise based solely on their race. There is no way to make an argument that race or ehtnicity should have any bearing whatsoever on determining whether the legal inhabitants of a nation should have the right to vote.
Slaves were not and could not become citizens of the US, since the US was intended to be a country for white persons only.
Nonsense. America was not an all-white nation when it was formed. Rather, non-white Americans were unjustly excluded from exercising their inalienable rights by the American government up until sometime after the Civil War (or after the Civil Rights Era, depending on where they lived).
The only objective difference is that Christianity is Truth, while Roman Paganism and Islam are demonic falsehood.
You keep using the word "objective" when you should really be using "subjective." But you already know that and are engaging in sophistry.
Well, I disagree with this. The implication is that religion has no material bearing on any other part of life but is purely a private interior matter, therefore it matters not a whit what a man believes, or whether he believes anything at all, and that every man should be free to believe and proselytize any believe he wishes anywhere under any circumstance
Except for the "anywhere under any circumstances part" (clearly, one cannot proselytize on private property or in the middle of a freeway) this statement is correct.
If on the contrary, religion is viewed as mattering a great deal, and being a matter of eternal salvation and damnation, it is quite sensible to punish people with penal sanctions who violate the peace of a community by attacking its religious basis.
People believe a lot of damn fool things. Muslims believe this today, and we rightly call such a belief barbaric. Thankfully, we live in a country that has banned this type of stupidity.
Furthermore, if adhering to the true religion is a matter of eternal salvation, those who attempt to turn people away from it are spiritual murderers, and could reasonably be punished for a crime that is the equivalent of soul-murder.
Of course, everyone believes their religion is the true way, so what you propose is a system where disagreement with the majority= treason. Are you sure you grasp the concept of this nation?
The first view, which you are espousing, leads to the view that those who advocate a religious basis for society must be punished or excluded, because they are a menace to the personal freedom of choice of such a society
Nonsense.
"You totally misunderstood me!!! The graphic was meant to indicate to you that I agreed completely with your statement in comment number 7: "Its fitting and proper that Christians recognize the special place that Israel holds and our kinship with the Jewish people."
The graphic symbolizes the saying, "right on, you hit the nail on the head!"
Next time I'll use words instead of a picture to ensure no misunderstanding!"
Then I don't have appropriate words for how strongly I apologize.
I agree. How sad that a man who has been a public servant for many years, whose children have served and are serving our country's military, should have to face charges of dual loyalty.
This is a persistent, spurious, and often unique charge of anti-Semites that deeply rankles. No ethnic/racial group faces this charge so repeatedly and unfairly no matter what their record.
You are exactly right.
It's all part if the same schtick. You will always see charges of dual loyalty at the Jewhating sites, along with the claim that Jews don't serve in the military.
There is an increasing wave of anti-Semitism and anti-Evangelicalism.
We must be vigilant.
Ha ha ha ha ha, good one. :P
OH, you're serious...
"Slaves were not and could not become citizens of the US, since the US was intended to be a country for white persons only. The 3/5 compromise was wrong not because slaves were not counted as whole persons in the enumeration, but because they were counted at all, seeing as they were totally excluded from membership in the nation. The South wanted them completely counted and completely excluded from citizenship, the North wantend them completely excluded on both counts. "
Interesting Freepname you have:
Hermann der Cherusker (Arminius in Latin, ca. 18B.C.-19A.D.) | A Roman-trained chief of the Cherusci, defeated the Romans at the battle of the Teutoburger Wald (Forest) in 9 A.D. The Romans had difficulties bringing the Germanic tribes under control, and the Rhine remained the northeastern border of the Roman empire for 300 years. Hermann was slain by his own tribesmen in 19 A.D. Although the Roman historian Tacitus labeled him ?the liberator of Germany,? the concept of a unified Germany was not even imagined in Arminius' time. But that did not prevent German nationalists from adopting Arminius as a German hero in the 19th century. They erected a huge, rather ugly monument to Hermann (and his defeat of P. Quintilius Varus' three legions) that still stands near the German city of Detmold today.
Your completely paranoid and irrational reading of a perfectly innocuous phrase tells me definitively that you have no capacity to carry on civil discourse realting in any way to Jews if the conversation does not reflect every sacred nuiance that you require. I am real tired of that attitude, "I don't like it so it must be anti-Semitism."
The scum Frank Rich called American war hero Bob Dole an anti-Semite in his New York Times column back in 1995 just because Dole made some remarks critical of Hollywood. Some of you are on the way to making "anti-Semitism," a badge of honor, a testimony that the person so charged is not cowed by your howls.
Your point is so well taken since Dole specifically mentioned Jews in Hollywood and there friends, puting me and Rich in the exact same boat. What? Dole never mentioned Jews at all? Then I guess you have no point at all, Patrick.
People are always talking about Germans and their friends, Mexicans and their friends, Chinese and their friends. Well, maybe not. But its a perfectly innocuous phrase that doesnt belie any conspiratorial, paranoid attitude at all. No sir. Badge of honor.
I fairly recently reread Rich's column and he did not allege whatsoever the words you quote here. Rich merely said that when he heard people criticizing Hollywood he could devine anti-Semitism behind it, much as you have done with the "friends" remark.
Now if Dole did in fact say what you quote here, I would like very much to see it. It would dramatically change my view of this whole incident, an incident which powerfully effected my attitude on these matters.
If you can give us a citation for those words by Dole, please....
If you can not provide that citation, yes, you have joined Rich in a contemptible slander of an honorable American who suffered all his life from the severe injury he suffered fighting Nazis.
I am waiting...
Now that is redundancy!
Please point to where I have advocated the destruction of Israel. If perchance I have gone against my own beliefs on this topic somehow, I'd like the chance to correct myself.
I have forthrightly stated I support the destruction of Islam, but never said so concerning Israel.
Well, for about 1300 years it was done by executing those who refused to confess publicly the faith of the Church and State.
