The President spent the weekend in Crawford Texas.

Today the President threw out the first pitch of the Cincinnati Reds opening day baseball game in Cincinnati, Ohio. Before the game he presented Eugene Goss, a junior at Clark Montessori High School in Cincinnati, the Volunteer Service Award as he arrived at the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport in Hebron, Ky.

The First Lady visited schools today.

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice was in England back end of last week and spent Sunday and part of today in Baghdad with Jack Straw, she returned to London today with Jack Straw for a meeting with Tony Blair.

Enjoy your visit to Sanity Island

My son always goes opening day. It was a totally gorgeous day, perfect for a baseball day game.

And they had the biggest crowd ever.... AND they had to schmuck.

Pathological, kitkat.

He lies so much he doesn't even realize people notice.

Praise the LORD that he isn't President!

in case you wanted to know:

On Wednesday of this week, at two minutes and three seconds after 1:00 in the morning, the time and date will be

01:02:03 04/05/06.

That won't happen again for a thousand years...

You may now return to your (normal ?) life.

It seems very strange after winning the primary maybe the press are about to dig some more dirt and he may for the sake of the party; even if it is not true have decided to step aside now.

After all it is less newsworthy if he is not running.

Here's a plan, snugs.

See what you think.

Condi becomes football commissionar after 2008-she loves football.

Dubya becomes baseball commissioner.

At least we'll have two sport franchises run right and we can do the day in the life of the Commishes.

Excuse me, friend.

Turning the Cowboys down is NEVER a good choice.

Unless you're going on to something really, really important. (Can't think of what it could be...President, maybe?)

Just knew the pictures would be great tonight.....Had to stop by. BTW have a new puppy. She was born Feb 12th, a border collie....Am still working on a name for her...Bumpkin and Stormy are in the works....A real sweetheart. Now if the cat and older dog just warms up to her, we'll be one happy family again.

My parents had a border collie when I was born. Unfortunately they had to get rid of her when I was a baby because they were afraid she might hurt me.

Here is a picture of her with mum, her name was Floss

LOL! For me, turning down the Cowboys is ALWAYS a good choice.

(That is since Tom Landry left).

Being President is an OK option, though? :)

I think he probably just didn't think he could win and didn't want to risk losing the seat to a Democrat.

I remembered you were partial to border collie's but hadn't remembered why. My older dog, Bootsie is also a border Collie....He'a a good watch dog!, but is afraid of the "little girl"! Maybe after a couple of day he'll warm up to her.

Floss was an ex working dog who did not make the grade and unfortunately though a great guard dog could not be 100 per cent trusted. She would never have hurt mum or dad but when the interloper me came into the picture that was a different thing. We got another dog a few months later a Sheltie cross Judy who was my shadow.

Could be but the fact that he is going before the end of his term to me signals that the evil MSM is about to dig more dirt.

Oh, I missed the part about him leaving early. I guess that could be true then. But why wouldn't he leave now if that were the case? It does seem odd that he wouldn't finish out his term though.
