The President spent the weekend in Crawford Texas.
Today the President threw out the first pitch of the Cincinnati Reds opening day baseball game in Cincinnati, Ohio. Before the game he presented Eugene Goss, a junior at Clark Montessori High School in Cincinnati, the Volunteer Service Award as he arrived at the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport in Hebron, Ky.
The First Lady visited schools today.
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice was in England back end of last week and spent Sunday and part of today in Baghdad with Jack Straw, she returned to London today with Jack Straw for a meeting with Tony Blair.
Enjoy your visit to Sanity Island
BEE-YOU-TI-FUL Dose tonight!! This baseball fan thanks you for all the great keepers on this thread!!
I read the short interview Eugene Goss gave and he sounds like a very astute young man - very impressive. Can't stay tonight. I loved all the pics from the game. Laura and Condi are my heroes and looked beautiful!
Hello to everyone!
He always has those lips clamped down, doesn't he?
Well, that's just perfect...thank you
Wow, I really enjoyed these pics!
President Bush exudes such an appealing blend of confidence and humility.
Love the shot of the prez and the Purple Heart soldiers -- also the shot of Bush and Barney the dog coming down the stairway with the young soldiers at the bottom.
While President Bush throws from where the men unleash..........
President George W. Bush and Laura Bush visit Army Staff Sergeant Michael McNaughton of Denham Springs, La., at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., Friday, Jan. 17, 2003. Sgt. McNaughton was wounded in Afghanistan Jan. 9, 2003.
President George W. Bush runs with U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Michael McNaughton, of Denham Springs, La., on the South Lawn of the White House Wednesday, April 14, 2004. The two met January 17, 2003, at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, where SSgt. McNaughton was recovering from wounds sustained in Afghanistan. The President then wished SSgt. McNaughton a speedy recovery so that they might run together in the future.
Glad you like them, do not really understand the game myself but the photos are lovely
Hi apples hope you are well
Oh, that's COOL!! Talk about consistency of good form!
Good memory, snugs! I thought the name was familiar but didn't remember who it was till you posted the older photos. Looks like Sgt. McNaughton made a true friend in Bush, more than a casual acquaintance (as in, they stay in touch).
The utter consistency is eerie and settling at the same time.
Y'all have FRmail re tomorrow's Dose.
Thanks for that composite that is great
He has on so much body armor he if he fell down somebody would have to pick him up.
Glad you liked it.
Love the montage of W throwing the pitches.
Kerry looks like he's thinking, "Is it gonna bounce?"
LOL
Our W turned turtle. What a picture.
