ROHRBACHER DEMANDING NEW PROBE OF OKC

Jayna Davis and I had an interesting phone conversation this morning. She is still waiting for a plane ticket to D.C. and an invitation to testify about the OKC bombing. Neither has been forthcoming.

Is it good news that Rep. Dana Rohrbacher (R-CA) is demanding a new probe of the OKC bombing? Maybe. But is it going to really get to the truth about the Middle Eastern connection to OKC? Maybe not.

Last year, David Schippers, famous for prosecuting both the Chicago mob and William Jefferson Blythe Clinton, flew to OKC to meet Jayna and her witnesses. Dave spent 12 hours grilling 14 of them on camera.

When he was finished, he told Jayna that, with just three of them, he would get a federal indictment of Hussain al-Hussaini in one day. FBI agent Dan Vogel told her he could do the same -- with one of her witnesses. That is how credible they were.

So why, Congressman Rohrbacher, did you tell Jayna that the committee has no budget to fly her to Washington, D.C.? What is the problem? Are we finally going to get the truth or is this grandstanding?

Andreas Carl Strassmeier has six witnesses saying that he was building a fence at the time of the bombing. He couldn't have been with McVeigh. Of 1100 fingerprints tied to the crime scene, none are Strassmeier's. Not one of 30,000 witnesses ties Strassmeier to the crime.

Here is a question for you, Congressman. Well, actually seven questions. Ten months ago, Jayna gave these to you in writing and still is waiting for the answers.

1. Why has the Justice Department/FBI not issued an official on-the-record statement exonerating Hussain Al-Hussaini of complicity in the Oklahoma City bombing? Has the DOJ provided Congress with Hussain Al-Hussaini’s whereabouts for the critical hours of the morning of April 19, 1995?

2. Why did the FBI never question Hussain Al-Hussaini about the bombing?

3. Why did the FBI previously suspect Al-Hussaini’s employer of ties to the Palestinian Liberation Organization?

4. Why were the original motel registration logs where witnesses testified McVeigh checked in with Al-Hussaini’s Iraqi cohort the evening of April 18, 1995, never returned to the establishment’s owner?

5. Whatever happened to the brown Chevrolet pickup that was seen carrying Middle Eastern suspects from the bomb site? The Oklahoma City police found fingerprints inside the recovered truck. Why were these prints not compared to the immigration files of the three Middle Eastern nationals whom witnesses observed in that getaway vehicle before, during, and after the bombing?

6. Why did the Bureau rebuff my efforts to surrender the witness statements and supporting evidence in September 1997? Why did the FBI withhold from the defense teams the twenty-two witness affidavits that I delivered to FBI Special Agent Dan Vogel in January 1999?

7. Why were the prior warnings issued by the Congressional Task Force on Terrorism and Unconventional Warfare that predicted an Islamic attack in the “heart of the U.S.” disregarded as an indicator of foreign participation?

Congressman Rohrbacher needs to bring Jayna and Schippers to meet with the committee in closed session. The committee needs to see the on camera interviews of 14 eye witnesses. It needs to be done in closed session to protect the witnesses. They stepped forward as patriots facing great risk.

The real story of OKC should have been told long ago. Let's finally get it told now. Bill Clinton did not want to deal with Middle East terror on our soil. He wanted this to be domestic terror. That is what he got. Who are those deep inside the FBI who are responsible for continuing the coverup?

The truth about OKC will forever end any remaining legacy of the impeached William Jefferson Blythe Clinton. Had he dealt with OKC, 9-11 could have been prevented. He ignored Middle East terror, created the vast right wing conspiracy, and his Kool-Aid drinkers dug in their heels. He would be held accountable for nothing. They stood with him no matter what because they had to fight the dreaded right wing. That is how Clinton divided America as never before.

Yup. As I recall I heard something to that effect quite a while ago. I have been riding the OKC hobby horse for some time. My congressman doesn't seem to be interested the President doesn't seem to be interested and the press is definately not interested.

I remember years ago, maybe 1993 or 94 I was listening to a radio show called "Duffy and Company". It was here that I heard the name of bin Laden for the first time. Duffy warned back then that the U.S. was in danger of serious terror attacks using WMDs from this creep. So if a radio guy knew about the danger back then I think the gov should have been on top of this stuff a long time ago. The only thing I can figure is gov incompetence, an enemy far smarter than we are, not wanting to offend the Arab and Muslim world, bureaucratic laziness, and an apthetic public wanting "peace and safety", who knows. All I know is we better start playing catch up ball real quick or we could see a major population center vaporized some time in the not-too-distant future.

April 3, 2006: What's the agenda?

Is Congressman Dana Rohrabacher's call for Congressional hearings into the April 1995 Oklahoma City attack an attempt to uncover the truth - or is his goal to once and for all hide the facts regarding the attack?

But does Rohrabacher, the man hailed in the above article from the October 1998 edition of the US-based Muslim Magazine for his record which "demonstrates his ongoing support of the Muslim community" have another agenda?

Questions posed by investigative journalist Jayna Davis, author of the book The Third Terrorist which explored the Middle East Connection to the Oklahoma City bombing, indicate that the Congressman may not be attempting to uncover the entire truth.

Earlier today, through Freeper Doug from Upland, Jayna posed the questions listed below. They also asked:

If this is an attempt to get to the whole truth, what harm can come from having Jayna Davis testify before Congress? What information are they afraid she might have about a Middle East connection?

In some ways, it's surprising that Rohrabacher, a man who received an award from the American Muslim Council. In fact, Rohrabacher has received tens of thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from Muslim donors, some of whom are in prison now on terrorism-related charges.

Ken Timmerman wrote the following in a 2004 article in Front Page Magazine:

Foremost among those friends is Khaled Saffuri, a former government affairs director of the American Muslim Council who has coordinated contributions to Rohrabacher's re-election campaigns from Muslim donors, some of whom today are in federal prison on terrorism-related charges.

While at AMC, Saffuri worked under AMC Executive Director Abdulrahman Alamoudi, who was jailed last October on charges of illegally laundering money from the Libyan government. At a September 2000 rally in LafayettePark in front of the White House, Alamoudi led followers in chanting their support for Hamas and Lebanon's Hezbollah, both of which are considered as international terrorist organizations by the U.S. government.

As AMC's chief Washington lobbyist from 1995-1998, Saffuri worked to organize AMC members and contributors into an effective political force. Besides $10,400 in direct contributions he made to Rohrabacher's re-election campaigns, he helped raise another $24,000 for in direct contributions to Rohrabacher's campaign war chest from AMC members and sympathizers, according to publicly-available Federal Election Commission records compiled for this article.

Born to Palestinian parents, Saffuri has made a career in Washington, DC of putting a moderate face onto radical Islamic causes while mixing with a Wahhabi-inspired network of donors who include Alamoudi and former University of South Florida teacher Sami Al-Arian, who was jailed on Feb. 20, 2003 for his alleged involvement in the leadership of Palestinian Islamic Jihad, an outlawed terrorist group.

One of the responsibilities for Congress which it opens an investigation is to learn the truth - and by truth that means the entire truth.

Doesn't America deserve an answer once and for all to the question: Was there a Middle Eastern connection to the Oklahoma City bombing? Don't we owe the victims and survivors of this attack the answer?

Sam_Paine, we all share your frustration that the OKC picture is not crystal clear -- even though several of us have spent years trying to make sense of it.

I, for one, specifically avoided the questions of "who?" and "why?", and left investigation of those to others while I concentrated on the "what happened?" and "how?". Even then, I was not able (with the avaiable evidence -- not sequestered or destroyed by Federal agencies) to arrive at a single, unequivocal conclusion.

What I did not start with, but was unable to avoid developing as I studied all the evidence, was the firm conclusion that the DOJ, BATF and FBI (at least) behaved very badly and dishonestly re the evidence.

I'll venture to say that everyone who has investigated the OKC bombing at length will agree with this: Anyone who starts with the OKC bombing and investigates in any direction soon finds themselves facing some very strange and frightening people -- and organizations.

Sorry, but, AFAIK, if you want a simple answer, you'll just have to dig it out for yourself. Just be ready to overcome many formidable obstacles!

Oh, and -- if you are successful -- please share the results with all of the rest of us... < no sarcasam -- at all -- intended>

All of the above. We've become so PC in this country that I don't see how we'll possibly win the war on terror. The jihadists won't defeat us. We'll defeat ourselves. We look like fools, imo, for some of the terrorist bill of rights stuff we've passed.

For crying out loud, not one thing that happened at Abu Graib was torture. Pretending dogs were going to bite but not letting them bite? Fake electrodes? Blankets over heads? Listening to obnoxious music? Sheesh. The jihadists must be laughing themselves sick.

On 9/11, within a few seconds, freepers said it was OBL. I was watching the news, channel surfing for information frantically because I have a stepbrother who worked in a building next to one of the towers, and not one of the anchors had a clue for a good 15-20 minutes. So all of what you said is correct, imo.

I read the book Infiltration by Paul Sperry a few months ago and was pretty stunned at some of the names of people on our side of the aisle who were Muslim sympathizers. I don't remember Rohrabacher's name being in there, but it might have been.

I'm not being lazy, and Peach is really ticking me off about this! There are things and threads and all sorts of things that I have read over time that confuse me. Like, whatever happened to Padilla being John Doe #2? Forgive me if I've not kept up, but I'd like to!

In the fiirst 48 hours after the Bombing of the Murrah Building, all pundits focused on ME connections, and similarities with the 1993 WTC Bombing m.o., etc.

Jayna Davis, first reporter on the scene of the bombing, eventually uncovered a Middle Eastern terrorist cell living and operating in the heart of Oklahoma City. Non of her credible witnesses contradicted the government's case against McVeigh and Nichols.

Davis's sources identified eight specific Middle Eastern men, the majority of whom were former Iraqi soldiers, colluding with the Oklahoma City bombers, Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols. All of these suspects emigrated to the United States and eventually to OKC following the Persian Gulf War as Iraqi agents. They moved to OKC in 1994 and went to work for a Palestinian man connected with the PLO.

Hussain Al-Hussaini was a dead ringer for the government's profile sketch of the elusive suspect "John Doe #2" (Jose Padilla? Nichols wife? etc?)

"Witnesses identified Al-Hussaini socializing with McVeigh at an Oklahoma City nightclub prior to the bombing. An Oklahoma City gas station attendant also fingered Al-Hussaini as the customer who paid one hundred dollars cash to fill up a large Ryder truck with diesel fuel (the key chemical component used in Ryder truck bomb) on eve of the bombing .

"The day of the bombing a maintenance man working at the motel located adjacent to the service station observed what was very likely the same Ryder truck emanating an odorous stench of diesel, yet according to the witness, the gas cap bore a warning sticker which read: 'Unleaded Fuel Only.'

"Two downtown joggers named the Iraqi soldier as the dark-haired, olive-skinned male they observed timing his run at a breathless pace from the Murrah Building one block east shortly before the bombing.

Some witnesses spotted Al-Hussaini in the cab and Timothy McVeigh driving the Ryder truck. Al-Hussaini was seen stepping out of the truck at ground zero directly in front of the Murrah Building moments before the bomb detonated, and speeding away from downtown in the driver's seat of a brown Chevrolet pickup pursued by the FBI in an official teletype that targeted foreign suspects seen fleeing the bomb site.

On numerous occasions the Arab subjects were seen in the company of Timothy McVeigh, and during a few rare instances, associating with Terry Nichols.

Al-Hussaini was likely a trusted member of Saddam Hussein's elite Republican Guard before being recruited into the elite Unit 999 of the Estikhabarat, more commonly known as the Iraqi Military Intelligence Service. Unit 999 was headquartered in Salman Pak where an aircraft fuselage was used for terrorist training.

Al-Hussaini moved to Massachusetts after the bombing and sought employment at the Boston Logan International Airport. In November 1997, Al-Hussaini began suffering panic attacks about his airport job and told his therapsist 'If something happens there, I will be a suspect.' During that time, he was living with two former Iraqi Gulf War veterans who provided food-catering services to the commercial airlines at the Boston airport.

The Pentagon has barred several military officials and intelligence analysts from testifying before a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing investigating whether the Able Danger program identified Mohamed Atta months before the 9/11 attacks.

The Pentagon's decision to keep the witnesses silent "only demonstrates that the program found something that the Pentagon still wants hidden," according to the Captain.

A lot of ME types have been working at our airports. I think we can safely conclude more than a few are agents out to do mischeif. It would be relatively easy for one of them working as a mechanic to place a small explosive on the aircraft at a critical point and then contact his principals in Bagdhad. An offshore boat may have fired a missle (indicated by a number of eye witnesses) at the time but missed. However the missle was only a backup, since the device suceeded in actually bringing down the plane.
This is only what I have surmised, but there is circumstantial evidence to indicate Saddam was behind it.
