I've written and called offices of congresscritters and the president. The fact is, they don't care a crap about what the people in this country want. And they don't seem to think there is a real threat of being abandoned on voting day. Too bad for them and too bad for this country--many will be voting third parties this tome around.

They'll care in January when the GOP loses both Houses of Congress, and the RATs begin drafting articles of impeachment against Bush.
