How about this?
Dear Patriotic American,
Thank you for contacting the Minuteman Project and asking what you can do for your country. Our Phone lines are swamped, our mail boxes are full and we have stretched our resources to the limit. Most of you have asked, what are we going to do, when will we do it and where will it happen?. We will take to the streets in protest, we will march on Washington and we will make our voices heard. The uprising of the pro Illegal immigration marches were planed by Spanish languages radio networks for months, we have only a few weeks to respond.
We are organizing a rolling protest called The Minuteman Caravan. This will be a town to town, state to state convoy to the Capital. Some will only be able to ride with us for a few miles while others will take the road from Los Angelis to D.C. the entire way. We will stop at the Capital lawn, clogging the streets and forcing the lawmakers to hear our voice!
This is our last, best hope to save our jobs and our culture. In order to accomplish this monumental task, we need everyone to stand up and chip in. What can you do to help?
Organize a chapter: Gather others from your area together and start a chapter. The opposition uses myspace.com to gather support, so can you. When you have your team together, contact me at ed@minutemanproject.com and I will send you more information.
Donate to the cause: The board of Directors are not only working without pay, we have also committed our personal coffers to the cause. We need to raise a large sum of money immediately to accomplish our goals and keep up the fight. Please go to www.minutemanproject.com and click on our secure donation form. We need money, equipment, RVs, stop locations and fundraisers now!
Volunteer your time: You can help raise money by organizing local fundraisers, take a watch on the border, donate food and equipment to the border watch, or volunteer your special skills. This will be a historic event you will be proud to have been a part of.
This is the time, we may never have another. Together we can close the border and end the debate.
Thank you,
Edwin R Williams

Its a real no-win situation, all right.
I have been a Bush supporter from the very start. However I no longer am because he refuses to do anything to protect our borders. He is no better than Klintoon or Carter because he upholds the law only when it suits him. Flame away!
We can withhold tax money once a year.
Otherwise it is deducted from our paycheck and we are taxed as we buy things.
And I'm getting money back this year for the first time in about 16 years. Nothing for me to withhold.
Only until election day.
Raise the penalty for driving without liability insurance. Make it a felony--make it have jail time. This is a common violation by illegal aliens--why should they pay money to insure Americans against their accidents? This will keep aliens moving around. It'd also lower our insurance premiums.
Raise the local fines and penalties for housing too many people in a space. Illegal immigrants crowd housing. Fine the landlords heavily.
Locally, if your small town or suburb has seen a rapid recent influx of illegals, you probably have a "godfather" who works with local crooked contractors, landlords, etc. How do you think the jobs and housing is found? Check out the churches, there's probably a "iglesia evangelista" with leadership getting fat off kickbacks. Not much you can do without a committed LE--but at least you can know who is doing what.
You are absolutely correct, we talk and get nothing done.
We are either part of the solution or we become part of the problem ourselves.
That's what this thread is for, to try to find a solution.
We know what the solution is, build a wall, secure the borders and kick the illegals out of the country.
But we cannot implement that solution. The government must implement that solution.
And we must find a way to put enough pressure on our government to force them to implement that solution.
But government moves too slowly and they may pass "laws" which they once again will have no real intention of enforcing.
Then it will be on "we the people" to implement the solution ourselves.
And the government will call us "terrorists" and use the "Patriot Act" against us.
What a fine mess they have gotten us into.
I like your idea a lot.
We need masses of people all pulling in the same direction to get any results.
You will get no flames from me.
Harry Truman said it best, "The buck stops here"...at the office of the president.
They catch 16 illegals in the area riding in a van. They call immigration and immigration says to let them go.
I'm sure there is probably no valid driver's license or insurance on the vehicle.
But if the police detain the driver, then what? Do they detain them all locally? I would think that they don't want to, that's why they let them go on their way.
It is the world turned upside down, for sure. What should be happening isn't. What shouldn't be happening is.
The politicians says removing the illegals will be hard on our economy. Hey, no damn harder than being on unemployment and having to go back to school! I say shake up our economy by shipping them out. The sooner we're employed again and paying our share of the outrageous taxes and no longer on social programs, the better. And while we're at it, lower the friggin' taxes and regulations that pushes employers to desperation for cheaper labor.
Dear gc4nra,
I love your idea of a ***SNOWBALL*** march to Washington.
I live in Southern California. Where is the starting point? When do
we start? I'm packing my little red pickup and I'm ready to go.
Isa 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I
send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here [am] I; send me.

Thanks for the update.
When you hassle criminals, they move elsewhere. Burglar alarms don't stop burglary, they just hassle the burglar and keep him on the move.
Pay attn to who pays the bail. That might be your "godfather."

George Soros?
Bin Laden?
The PLO?
Hamas?
ACLU?
Instead of focusing on absolute prevention, focus on disrupting the organizers.
ARREST THEM FOR DRIVING WITHOUT INSURANCE. Impound the vehicle. Sell the vehicle at auction. Watch and see who the perp calls, which lawyers are on "standby" and who foots the bill. Take his picture and send it "upstream" to other enforcement-friendly municipal cops.
They might catch the same guy again (after you're forced to release him) with a whole new name, and a whole new crime.
Illegal immigration is networked. They all have cell phones, or quickly acquire them. They know where their banking Western Union outposts are.
One of my husband's friends recently quit his 6 figure computer job to go into construction. I guess he hasn't gotten the memo that "Americans won't do construction jobs".
I'm a legal immigrant. I would like Americans to ask their Congress critters to pose a question to Vicente Fox. Do you have ANY plan for your country besides pushing immigrants this way? I would like you to ask yourselves and them how this is fair to those of us who go the legal route, who wait in line at 26 Federal plaza at 3:30 am in February because we want to be in the United States of the rule of law, not the no-hablo-ingles Estados Unitos. I'm very angry. I hope you all are too. I'm not an American yet, I don't have the right to vote. But I do think that we need to organize a blessed protest of our own. I feel as if I'm been slapped - and so should you!
I don't believe in petitions. The time has come to speak with money. No more Chipotle, no more patronizing any business that employs these people. You're here to work? I will deny your employer my business. Good luck to you.
