I think the kid is being made an example of in a manner of appeasement by the local DA if the 'arson' charge sticks. This act is not worthy of such a strong charge; there are others available and, of course, prosecutorial discretion.
What are the chances that is actually enforced with the student walk outs from this past week?

I'm not big on burning flags. Every butthole in the World does it to ours all the time. But charging this young man with arson is way over the top. The officials must be reallly chicken.
Sarcasm is nice, sometimes. Remember, the British didn't have as many troops in this country, comparatively speaking, as we do illegals. Nor did they have easy access here, nor shared a 2,000 mile common border. We don't need another war. We need to work out the problem, otherwise, it's not going away. These illegals are "pawns", discarded by their own corrupt government that doesn't care about them and is happy they send U.S. dollars back, while not bothering the dictatorship at home. Meanwhile,here in the U.S., their lawbreaking employers happily employ them, pay them less, don't provide benefits, and let the U.S. taxpayers subsidize their social services. Who are the dupes, yeah, you and I, bud, that's who. And the Boston Tea Party thing, maybe it should be directed at our elected government. They aren't enforcing the laws that would've prevented this problem in the first place.
There's none of that BULL**** Bush spouts about "willing workers" but rather a singular desire to conquer by invasion. These activists are not peaceful people looking for a better life here in America but instead want the continent under Mexico's thumb.

I heard that an American flag was burned at 7th and Broadway in downtown Los Angeles in the middle of the huge protest last week. The media and the Los Angeles Times' are downplaying everything. A very nasty article against Lou Dobbs of CNN was printed today in the Los Angeles Times "Media" section because Dobbs tells the truth about the invasion of our country by illegals, particulary from Mexico which make up 90% of the millions of illegal aliens in California and they called it "bile." I think they are jealous because Lou Dobbs' ratings are going way up.
